Ementa/Descrição: Present an overview of global antimicrobial resistance patterns and summarize the antimicrobial stewardship program initiatives and principles. Focus on identifying how to apply principles in the practice of veterinary medicine. Illustrate the benefits of interprofessional collaboration, pharmacists and veterinarians, working together to promote better results in antimicrobial therapy and prevent resistance. Work through practice cases to identify and apply current working knowledge of antimicrobial stewardship practices.
