The Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) graduation Course of History at the Nova Iguaçu campus was created in 2006 and since then it offers, in the heart of the Baixada Fluminense, the opportunity of free and quality higher education in History Teaching and Research.

The course takes place at night and is adapted to the professional training needs of a population with a predominantly working social profile, with two annual entries of 40 students selected through SiSU by UFRRJ.
