The present dissertation is the result of the research on the contributions of Rural Tourism in the region of the state of Ceará for the environmental training of students of the agricultural technical course of the IFCE Campus Crato through the use of a digital platform as a pedagogical strategy to promote "Education Proactive ". Aiming to know and characterize the tourism projects underway in Crato, Nova Olinda and Barbalha, Ceará's municipalities that are geographically close to each other and that are expanding in the rural tourism segment, especially in family agriculture, field activities and use of the digital platform (Vicon Saga of UFRRJ) to record perceptions, were strategies used to create information bank on the segment, seeking to add elements to promote students' interdisciplinary learning in the face of environmental issues. Promoting the propagation of existing tourist centers in the region and, above all, contributing to the process of agro-environmental education of young people in formation, is the focus of educational action carried out in partnership with teachers and collaborators from different professional areas. In order to understand if the segment constitutes a possibility of professional performance of the graduate of the Agricultural Technical Course of the IFCE, it is hoped that it will be another way of attracting the future worker to settle in their region of origin, trying to co-opt the work force with the family, the community, without resorting to the exodus to seek work in other regions, which is not always possible in the area of their formation. It is a basic qualitative research, of a descriptive nature, which uses as data collection instruments the analysis of bibliographic sources, questionnaires, semi-structured interviews and participant observation. The data analysis is based on the contributions of rural tourism to the students' agri-environmental training, which is reflected through the experience (exchange) with the owners of the establishments, with reflection on the use of the digital platform as a didactic means and the questionnaires answered. Based on the findings, it is hoped that "meaningful learning" will be built, where students will develop autonomy, reflecting, above all, environmental issues and their area of performance as a technician in agriculture and livestock since there is evidence of reduced employability in the because of low or non-existent agricultural production, caused especially by the prolonged periods of drought in the region and thus, making services in the area scarce and when they arise, are uncertain. However, an alternative for the qualified Agricultural Technician is that he / she can expand his area of activity with tourism in rural areas, providing technical assistance through rural extension activities, especially to family farmers, or being a) rural entrepreneur, with a view to living in the northeastern semi-arid region. The organization of rural properties for the production and realization of income supplementation activities constitutes a means of occupation of the worker and, at the same time, through the responsible use of natural resources, can contribute to the preservation of the environment and for the Environmental Education process of visitors and the community around them.

The teacher in educational practice seeks in the diversity of resources available support in the textbook. This is of fundamental relevance in the teaching and learning process, in addition to being available to all students. However, the textbook should be used as one of the resources to be explored in the teaching community, not the only one. In this context, this research aims to analyze the role and effectiveness of the use of textbooks as a tool for learning Geography in the public education system. According to these facts, it is noted that the teacher has mediating power to select the best way to take advantage of this resource, because during the lived experiences it was possible to develop classes that used this instrument linked with other methodologies and resources that adhered to the teaching process -learning. In this way, it is the teacher's task to identify and select the best methodology for the use of this resource by contextualizing the theory with the empirical reality of the student, thus facilitating a better learning.

SIMAS, Anna Salles. The professional qualification of the technician in agriculture, from the agroecological perspective. 2019. 62p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, 2019.
This study was carried out to understand in which extent agroecology is part of the education of the agricultural technicians at Barão de Langsdorff Agronomic Integrated Education Center (CEIA). This is an agricultural school located in the municipality of Magé, in the State of Rio de Janeiro. The study evaluated the students of three grades, graduates and teachers of CEIA. The research showed, through interviews and questionnaires, that teachers and students understand agroecology simply as a set of environmental production and preservation practices, lacking a broader dimension of agroecology as a science based on a novel set of paradigms. The students had difficulty in discriminating agroecology from organic agriculture; there is a single class in the curriculum focusing on agroecology in the first year, showing an important gap of the course. The students and teachers also pointed out that the school has no relation with the local community, which makes students dissatisfied. The graduates, for the most part, work as agricultural technicians and some currently work with agroecological themes in Rio de Janeiro state. The graduates that during their training, social issues were little exploited, transversal subjects were treated only superficially, and the technical subjects predominated. This study made it possible to observe that education given at CEIA, lacks a real emphasis on agroecology, even though agroecology is the ‘slogan’ of its educational proposal. However, technicians formed at CEIA are able to act as professionals on agroecology.

This dissertation is the result of a research accomplished with teachers of the first segment of State CamiloCuquejo Elementary School, located in the rural area of Itaguaí City - Rio de Janeiro. The research arose from the interest in knowing the pedagogical practices of teachers, according to their own conceptions. The case study in question was contextualized with the personal and professional data of the teachers, obtained through a questionnaire, and with the analysis of their answers to a semi-structured interview. As a theoretical reference, the research sought support in works of Paulo Freire, Maria Amélia do Rosário Franco, Bernard Charlot, Carlos Rodrigues Brandão, Maurice Tardif, among others that reflected on the teaching work. This research verified that the teachers, in their professional performance, were worried about how the students were learning and looking for different ways of teaching, being attentive to their singularities. This study also revealed that the lack of support from the municipal public power, limited the professional performance of the teachers.

ABSTRACT
SILVA, Michele P.G. The Doctorate in Agronomy - Soil Science of UFRRJ: Perception of Graduates about the Program and its Socio-Professional Profile.2019. 103f. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education).Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
The impact generated in society by the products of a Strictosensu Graduate, whether by the training of qualified professionals or the results of the application of their research, represents the fulfillment of their institutional objectives and serves as a way of evaluating their efficiency and effectiveness. Research with alumni is an important source of information and a valuable tool for assessing institutional quality and social impact. In this sense, CAPES has restructured its evaluation policy for the Postgraduate Programs for the next four-year period (2020), significantly valuing the evaluation of graduates and the social impacts of Postgraduate Programs. Despite this, there is still a lack of studies related to the subject, and the institutions that perform them are rare. In its 53 years of existence, the Postgraduate Program in Agronomy - Soil Science (CPGA-CS), Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, had not carried out this type of work, therefore it did not evaluate whether its graduates in their professional activities, the knowledge acquired in the course and, if the world of work is absorbing these professionals. In this context, the present research aimed to identify the characterization of the academic trajectory, the professional performance after completing the course, the perceptions to different aspects of the Program and the satisfaction with the training received. A descriptive-exploratory, qualitative-quantitative case study was carried out with a population of 154 PhD graduates from 2001 to 2016. The methodological design comprised bibliographical and documentary research, and the results analyzed by Content Analysis. In general, it was verified that the majority of graduates are in full employment, working in the area to which they qualified, occupying jobs, mainly in educational and research institutions, besides being satisfied with the training received, qualifying the program as great to excellent. In line with CAPES 'latest assessment.

Productive Quintals as Family Production Units are also spaces of multiple discussions and experiences present in the routine of farmers. Among the experiences and discussions it is possible to highlight the relationship of the yard with education and with the climatic, social and cultural characteristics of the region where the small properties are inserted. And from these relationships there are many other incursions and themes that involve different subjects and actions. Among these, emphasis should be placed on the performance of farming families, students and technical professionals in agriculture in backyards. For this, the discussion goes through the formation, the contextualization of the knowledge and the connection of these with the scientific knowledge. Considering that the productive farms analyzed are located in the region of Cariri Cearense, located in the Brazilian semi-arid region, this work proposes to analyze the yard as a means of contextualizing education, especially for technical training in agriculture and livestock. And, in this way, to analyze the possible contributions of the family production units to the students of the Agricultural Technical Course of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará - IFCE Campus Crato in what concerns the construction of knowledge on farming systems viable to the context environmental and climatic conditions of the semi-arid region of Cariri Cearense. This is, therefore, a basic research, of qualitative analysis, whose character is descriptive. In order to obtain information about the characteristics and opinions of a certain group of people, some data collection instruments were used, namely: discussion scripts, talk wheels, journals and field notes (registration of visits to properties and conversations with farmers), transcription of the wheels of conversation and visits made, in addition to participant observation. And as a data treatment and analysis technique we used the discourse analysis of some of the speeches of the subjects involved in the research during the moments of the conversation. Thus, as the work involves the discussion about the relation of the Technician in Agropecuária with the Production Backyards, we had the curiosity to know better the characteristics of the Technical Courses in Agropecuária in the regions of Brazil. With this, a survey of more general data was carried out and, for this purpose, we used data from the National Information System for Vocational and Technological Education (SISTEC) and the Ministry of Education (MEC) and arranged them in the statistical format. In this sense, we can see that the Northeast of Brazil is the region with the highest number of Technical Courses in Agriculture of the Federal Institutes of Education (IFs) and thus, there is another interesting data for the research, since it concentrates geographically in the Semi-arid region of Northeast Brazil. And this data is accompanied by the description, dialogue and reflections throughout the work that relate directly and indirectly to the research topic, from the more general to the more particular issues, with a focus on sustainable and agroecological production.

The present study was conducted with 15 students of the Technical course in Agriculture, a subsequent modality of the Federal Institute of Ceará Campus Crato, in order to contribute to the learning in technical training in agriculture through the contextualization Using the forage cactus, a culture typical of the semiarid Ceará as a guiding element, with preparation of flour and biscuit the basis of cactacea. In principle, a diagnostic questionnaire was applied to perceive the initial knowledge of the students regarding the understanding and utilization of the forage cactus. After socialization of the questionnaires it was observed that they had little information about the plant, this finding led to new explanations about the potentiality of cactacea, focusing on the use in human food, which resulted in a workshop With the elaboration of various products. During The research development, the students participated in pedagogical activities, and the conversation wheel was used to share knowledge. The data collection process was used in addition to the diagnostic questionnaire, the field diary and the interview that guided the results of the research. In relation to the prepared products, the flour was evaluated for it’s centesimal composition, the Standard Biscuit (BP) and the formulations (F1, F2, F3, F4 and F5) for its centesimal composition and sensory attributes. For sensory Evaluation, we used the discriminative methodology to select the best samples through the ordering test, of which, together with the flour, were analyzed for moisture, lipids, ashes, proteins, fibers, carbohydrates and Total caloric value (VCT). The results showed that nutritive products whose values are found are within the standards established by the current legislation. Regarding the contextualization of learning, the main focus of the research, it was possible to observe the comprehension and absorption of information by the students as the study progressed, favoring a greater interest and engagement in the realization of activities and Socialization. It is Concluded, therefore, that the research enabled students to build knowledge, arousing them to social responsibility, promoting acting as active agents, critics and transformers.

Nowadays, much is spoken in pedagogical tools for teaching and learning, and much more still in the area of information technology. These tools are created with the aim of facilitating learning if used for pedagogical purposes. In this context, the objective of this work is to propose the creation of a pedagogical teaching and learning tool, as well as to evaluate this tool with the students of the Bachelor of zootechnics course at IFCE – Campus Crato (Ceará). The research has walked paths in the form of action-research and participant, with a qualitative approach investigating the subjective and quantitative aspects with the expectation of measuring or quantifying from intense mathematical models and statistical data by search for explanations or solutions that clarify observed phenomena. As a methodological route, the literature review was used. Twenty students were recruited to perform the research activities, which among them used a semi-structured questionnaire, the workshop, an experiment and the reapplication of a questionnaire. To perform the research stages, a pedagogical proposal was established involving all activities. For the analysis of the data regarding the questionnaire applied, the tabulation of the answers was used using Microsoft Excel software with comparative charts. For the analysis of the pedagogical tool Minhobucket through the experiment, Action Stat 3 was used in addition to Microsoft Excel. Regarding the results, the applications of the questionnaire resulted in a breakthrough in the investigation of the assimilation of the subjects worked. The experiment in the Minhobucket resulted in the learning and teaching of students related to the themes worked and through this analysis it was found that the pedagogical tool in addition to facilitating teaching and learning, is also a suitable tool for the creation and multiplication of earthworms, in which in the treatment with 75% of bovine manure + 25% of guinea-grass there was the highest mean (58,00 ± 12,67) in relation to the amount of cocoons and the treatment with 100% of bovine manure was obtained higher average relative to multiplication of earthworms by the Scott-Knott test at 5% probability.

The objective was to promote Environmental Education for students of the IFCE, Campus Crato regarding the use of wastewater and evaluation of the morphophysiological characteristics of forage palm cultivars under different doses of swine net waste. The experiment was conducted at the Federal Institute of Ceará, Campus Crato between the period from October 2016 to December 2017. The research carried out had relevance to the context of Environmental Education of a qualitative and quantitative nature. First the involvement of the students of the undergraduate courses in Animal Science and Technical in Agriculture. Then the evaluation of the growth and production of forage palm cultivated after the application of wastewater. A randomized block design (DBC) was used, where the doses of swine wastewater (ARS) were studied by the effects of the six concentrations diluted in water, as follows: T1 = 0 mL of ARS.L-1 of water; T2 = 200 mL of ARS.L-1 water; T3 = 400 mL of ARS.L-1 water; T4 = 600 mL of ARS.L-1 water; T5 = 800 mL of ARS.L-1 water; T6 = 1.000 mL of ARS.L-1 of water, applied in two species of forage palm. Planting was done leaving only the mother cladodium, with eight replications. The planting was done in black polyethylene buckets with 18L capacity in the spacing 1.0 x 1.0 m. The water used for irrigation was tap water from artesian wells added by ARS concentrations. The applied blade was 0.5 liters (0.5 mm) per meter every two days or 15 mm per month. Irrigation was performed using a sprinkler individually in each vessel, following the proposed treatment recommendation, after determining the capacity of each vessel.

This dissertation is about a research that aimed to investigate the growth of knowledge and skills of textual practice, and the students' autonomy in relation to their own texts, in order to lead the PROEJA students to reflect on their (re) wrting with their own text. The subjects of the research were students of the Technical Course in Commerce, the Program of Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Mode of Education of Young and Adults – PROEJA of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amapá - IFAP, Campus Laranjal do Jari. The discussions and reflections commonly raised by the teachers about the difficulties that PROEJA students have during their reading and writing practices pointed to relevant aspects to the viability of the research. In this sense, authors such as BAKHTIN (2004), KLEIMAN and MORAES (2007) contributed to the understanding of the writing process as a process of meaning construction. Therefore, the research focused on the rewriting of these texts, considering that through this activity the student has the possibility to make modifications, rework periods, give new positions to the elements of paragraphs, so that the text reaches the appropriate goal. It is necessary to offer the student the possibility of constructing and reconstructing the senses that compose the text and pointing out that besides the grammatical questions, their world experiences may be relevant in the act of textual production. To interpret the phenomena and the resources of signification that the students use when writing and rewriting, the research used a qualitative interpretive method. Throughout this research, both the researcher and the participants are involved in a cooperative or participatory way. The analyzes were made through comparative tables, in order to demonstrate the students' autonomy in the rewriting process. From the analysis, we understand that the practice of rewriting is indispensable in the activities of textual production, since it enables the student to develop a critical sense and learn the possibilities of the Portuguese language.

The present study has as object of study the contextualization of the traditional knowledge in the construction of a dialogical process between the pedagogy of indigenous school education and the scientific knowledge developed in the Advanced Campus of Oiapoque. The research was conducted at the Jorge Iaparrá State Indigenous School located in the Manga Village of the Karipuna ethnic group. With an approximate population of 500 inhabitants, the village is located in the indigenous land of Uaçá, in the municipality of Oiapoque, far from the county seat 18 kilometers away. This study was desendivido through a research of qualitative nature, of a descriptive-phenomenological character in which the information obtained through the bibliographical research, documentary, photographic record, the observation and the direct interview through the methodology were used as instruments of data collection. of oral history. In the construction of the theoretical reference on indigenous and non-indigenous school education, both the legal regulatory framework and the authors studied, point to unilaterality, characterizing its specificities where the objectives, principles and foundations are different, and there is no mechanism of dialogic approximation between indigenous pedagogical processes and traditional education. In this context, the study sought to understand how the process of construction of indigenous school education takes place, in which knowledge and actions are the basis of school planning. To answer this question the active subjects of this process were studied: the shaman, the cacique, indigenous teachers, sages, parents and indigenous students. The method of oral history was the most appropriate to obtain the data, due to the flexibility of the way of presenting the content and the interpretive personality of the information of each subject searched. In the collection and analysis of the data, considering the level of subjectivity presented by the dynamics of the method of oral history, the questions were aligned differently for each informant, obeying the time, the disposition, the capacity to construct the reasoning of each one. The data were analyzed, grouped and contextualized, and it was possible to identify the transforming process of the indigenous education arrangements being worked and applied in the pedagogical procedures of indigenous school education in the Jorge Iaparrá State Indigenous School.

The world of work has been undergoing profound transformations, causing a lot of concern for the new generations. The search for alternatives for the generation of work and income must consider possible breakdowns of subordination of labor to capital and, at the same time, maintain the historical achievements of the worker. One of these forms of organization and action is cooperativism, which emerges as an alternative of organizing collective work. This dissertation seeks the foundations of cooperativism and the perspective of Brazilian professional education policy, convergent elements that can support a proposal of cooperative education capable of responding to the demands of the labor market of the present times. In this sense, this work is limited in the context of Vale do Jari, whose historical, socioeconomic and educational characteristics present an environment conducive to the development of this proposal. It is through cooperative education that one must dissociate from the reproduction of actions and encourage innovation and ideas that bring benefits to all and reduce inequalities (FERREIRA, SILVA, 2015 p.35). It is also emphasized that cooperative education is the learning process that goes beyond mere speeches and explanations and also values the social, business and the specific training demands of organizations and associates (FERREIRA; AMODEO; SOUSA, 2012 p.11). For the cooperative system, education is a fundamental instrument because it is responsible for sustaining the cooperative dynamics. Understanding that education and training are indispensable for the survival of cooperatives, Schneider (2003) emphasizes that cooperatives would be distorted or even engulfed by free competition and dominance of the socioeconomic system, if they are dissociated from cooperative technical training and / or training. Cooperativism in the Amazon began to be used as a business model by the traditional populations of the region (Indians, extractivists, riverine, quilombola farmers, fishermen), with more emphasis from the redemocratization process, 1988, since social movements until then organized in different ways, each with its "flag of struggle", in order to guarantee their rights, such as the indigenous movement for the demarcation of their lands, the black movement with the recognition of the quilombola areas, and the extractivists for the creation of extractive reserves , which had as icon the seringueiro Chico Mendes.Considering that no experience of a legally constituted school cooperative was identified in the jari valley region, the study presented here focused on analysis and cooperative experiences in the jari valley with some proven relationship as an institute or education program for cooperation. To this end, we take into account: historical aspects of the development of this experience of grassroots productive organization in the region; social aspects with emphasis on the democratic character of popular participation in the productive and managerial framework of this self-managing business model and in the professional character of the process of qualification of the membership of these enterprises; besides the economic aspect oriented to the quantitative and qualitative results of the real performance of these enterprises.

The present work presents a study about the process of construction of the Integrated Curriculum of the Technical Course in Agropecuária of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais - São João Evangelista Campus. Thus, the main objective of the research was to identify and analyze the curriculum development process of this course, between the years of 2008 and 2016. It was set up as an empirical and predominantly qualitative research. The choice of time frame was based on the understanding that during this period important changes took place with the creation of the Federal Network of Professional Scientific and Technological Education and the creation of the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology through Law No. 11,892 / 98. The production of data was done through two methodological forms: the first was through Documentary Analysis, and the main documents used were: Colegiado do Minutes of the course, Pedagogical Projects, Minutes of Pedagogical Meetings, Minutes of Meetings of the General Coordination High School and Technical and Teaching Direction and course records documents. In addition to this instrument, semi-structured interviews were also carried out with four lecturers of the course, having as a criterion for selecting participants those who entered the Campus before 2008. The interviews were audio-taped and later transcribed. The instrument of data analysis used was the Indicator Paradigm, proposed by Ginzburg (1989). It is believed that it was possible to elucidate, through this investigation, details of the situations that determined the curriculum of the course between the years 2008 - 2016 and contribute with analyzes that suggested possible changes in the context of this researcher's performance. In the analysis of the data obtained, it is believed that the construction of the curriculum of the Agricultural Technical Course of the IFMG / SJE remained, during the analyzed period, with a structural duality between basic education and professional education.

The present research entitled "The Solid Waste Disposal Process in the Community of Terezina III, in the Municipality of Tabatinga-AM: A Proposal for Environmental Education" was carried out together with the Post-Graduation Program in Agricultural Education of the Federal Rural University of Rio de January / UFRRJ-RJ, whose main objective was to investigate how the solid waste disposal process is carried out in the community aiming the elaboration of a proposal of Environmental Education, which will contribute effectively to decrease negative impacts caused by increased production and waste. Thus, we seek to demonstrate, through the history of the human-nature relationship, the reasons that led to the unbridled increase in waste production and the future prospects for humanity if no measures are taken to contribute to the management and disposal of waste. We also draw a brief history of national policies focused on solid waste at the National, State and Municipal levels, as well as on the conceptual and practical bases of Environmental Education in Brazil. In order to prove the importance of the role of the school in the search for solutions to the environmental problems presented within the locality due to the increase of the production of these residues, a qualitative and quantitative research was carried out to collect data that could contribute to the proposal and development of participative pedagogical actions of Environmental Education that sensitize the local subjects to sustainable environmental practices, where the application of semi-structured questionnaires with 21 community residents, 38 students and 9 teachers of the school was used as data collection method. We also made participant observations in the locality. The results obtained show us that the locality’s residents are people very committed to environment improvement, by participating in actions and projects aimed conservation and environmental preservation. In the educational context it is possible to infer that school, even if in a modest way, has been seeking to develop actions that allow the improvement of the school environment, which can be observed through the critical positions of the students who participated in the research

Education in border cities has peculiar characteristics and situations. The general objective of the work was to know the particularities of the teaching-learning process and the cultural relations established in frontier schools, on the Brazilian double border (Oiapoque-Amapá) and France (Saint-Georg in French Guiana). We also intend to know the characteristics of the Brazilian border (Oiapoque-Amapá), French Guiana (Saint-Georges); to identify if the Political Pedagogical Projects of the schools under study consider and in what ways the intercultural education and, finally, to investigate the intercultural particularities of schools of the border Oiapoque-Amapá and Saint-Georges-French Guiana. It has been realized that cultural relations are built through contacts between various ethnic groups and through the interweaving of their respective cultural burdens. In the case of the Municipality of Oiapoque, various ethnicities and groups of Indians, blacks and Europeans coexist and exchange information and these intercultural relations, if they are used by schools that integrate the education system of the municipality of Oiapoque and the city of Saint Georges, may be more an element to be used to strengthen the teaching-learning processes. The research was developed with the purpose of raising, knowing and studying intercultural relations in the environments of the State Schools located in the Municipality of Oiapoque and in a school in the Municipality of Saint-Georges (France). With the purpose of revealing the object, the following methodological strategies were used: questionnaires and document analysis, such as: Pedagogical Political Projects of the schools surveyed.

CÔGO, Domingos Sávio. The role of the school library in the teaching-learning process: a case study. Seropédica: UFRRJ, 2019. 79p. Dissertation (Master Degree in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
The act of reading, of liking to read, often depends on the stimulus that the subject receives during his intellectual development, it being able to happen in several environments, such as family and/or school, and so forth. However, it has befallen upon the teacher the responsibility of said task, since it’s considered that such professional should be the one to stimulate the reading of several types of texts, so that the student starts getting more satisfactory results in the understanding of classes, of the proposed learning activities, and for the citizen life. The forms/methods/different ways of reading are subjective when referring to the interpretation, often occasioning/leading to difficulties in the textual analysis in the classroom. In this work we conceive the school library as a privileged space and facilitator of the reading promotion. It allows the student access to information in various media, it being printed or virtual, becoming a fundamental tool on the development of the disposition and practices in reading. Nonetheless, the school library still finds resistance in the faculty/with the teaching staff in the matter of considering it as a key partner in the teaching-learning process. This work is a study about the ways in which the school library is being incorporated into the teaching-learning process, having as object of study the Major Library Bley of the Ifes Campus Santa Teresa. As for the main methodological procedures in this research, the application of questionnaires and interviews to students, former students, teachers, and employees of the research institution were used, in order to understand the different ways in which these subjects conceive the role of the school library in the teaching-learning.

BARBOSA, Douglas de Miranda. Living and coexistence in student housing: an analysis of daily school life on technical training at IFMG - Campus São João Evangelista. 2019. 127 p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
This dissertation aimed describing and reviewing the influences on coexistence in student housing in students’ training process of an agricultural school. The investigative path was guided by users participants’ perception the of this type of interaction to implement impacts and meanings attributed to coexistence in community in order to verify in which circumstances the cutting social’s daily life of coexistence interferes with learners’ professional and humanistic valuation. Based on resident student’s reports and observations, all of them from Federal Institute of Education Science and Technology São João Evangelista Campus, we tried to identify how these subjects face school daily life and what are the impacts of these experiences on training students’ processes intra and extra class dimensions in the light of user’s own perception. The research is characterized by being an ethnographic case study taking the study of everyday life as a methodological perspective. Quantitative and qualitative methodologies were respectively employed using the following data collection instruments: virtual questionnaire, participant observation, interview with residents. An interview was also made with the Campus Principal in order to gather further information about institutional actions aimed at permanence and success of the students who looks for this kind of housing. We also used Productions of Daily Study, Anthropology and Social Studies from authors like Certeau, Goffman, Heller and Pais in order to analyze and understand the investigating phenomena about everyday life resident students’. The data obtained reveal that students recognize students housing as a development and interaction space where they are able to prepare themselves to adulthood. The residents considered their inmate condition as a significant stage in their lives that take them to enriching experiences in which – from daily community coexistence - they can develop skills such interpersonal relationship, maturity, respect, autonomy, self-control and solidarity supporting them on carrier decisions and plans for their future life. It was concluded that student housing has a greater social function in training users far beyond its meaning as a physical space.

This dissertation presents the vision of the students of the Superior Course of Technology in Environmental Management, of the Superior Course of Environmental and Sanitary Engineering and of the Technical Course in Environment integrated to the High School, of the IFMG Campus Governador Valadares on the presence of extensionist practice in the Institution and their contribution in complementing their professional and humanistic training. The reflection carried out here on extensionist practice is based on the dialogical interaction between the subjects involved in extensionist activities and their inseparability between teaching and research. Qualitative research was carried out using questionnaires, with open and closed questions, with the extension coordinator of the campus, with 24 students and 11 teachers connected to the courses. Field visits were also made with 3 students from the Superior course of Environmental and Sanitary Engineering who were developing an extension project with the local community. The data revealed the presence of the extensionist practice on campus, being developed through extension projects, mini-courses, workshops, science fairs, scientific initiation seminars, conversation wheels, technical visits, events and initial and continuing training courses. The extension activities of the campus play a significant role with students since they have been contributing to the improvement of their knowledge and professional training. They also revealed that students need to be prepared to deal with an extensionist practice based on the dialogical relationship seeking the integration between the academic community and the population around them. The institution needs to advance in relation to "university extension", providing the entire IFMG community with moments of debate and reflection on this subject in its various academic forms, carrying out the exchange of ideas, positions and knowledge among its peers so that all benefit from its real purpose that is the development and integral improvement of knowledge.

Family farming responds significantly to the food that comes to our tables. However, due to social differences existing in the country and agribusiness, this worker and his family still remain without access to information that is fundamental for the realization of their rights and duties. The Federal Constitution of 1988 brought about isonomy for urban and rural workers, but the infraconstitutional legislation that regulates the theme, dates from 2006. This legislation, added to others that have been in force since 1964 and reflects a reality of differences, although it determines the creation of opportunities for rural working life. In this aspect, the present work has the scope to present this reality and to point out the educational possibilities of bringing up the question of the legal hypnosufficiency of this worker, aiming to remedy it to bring it closer to the principle of equality to all proposed by the Major Law of our country.

The present study had as an investigative question the narratives about the training trajectories of the young student workers, those who attended the Technical Course on Safety of Subsequent Work, concluded in the first semester of 2019, of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais - Campus Governador Valadares. In view of this, the main objective was to know, to explain and to analyze the formative elements of such stories. The methodology, predominantly qualitative, had as a data production tool a questionnaire, whose aim was to delineate the profile of the class, in order to collect social notes about the students: age, sex, motives that propitiated the study in a technical course, which expectations, educational needs, personal and professional possess. In addition, we also used the semi-structured interview, which is carried out with a sample referring to the participants of that course. The thematic itinerary was structured in order to understand what the experiences were and how they impacted the formation of the public addressed. The results show that the majority of the students are 18 and 29 years of age, who are participants in the Student Assistance Program (PAE), who report their skin color as pardos and the female, work or are looking for him and, have as their primary motivation the insertion in the world of work. Besides this aspect, we also verified the impact of this professional formation in the configuration of the civil life of the subjects, that is to say, more autonomous forms of existence and aid in the family budget. Therefore, it is an educational and also social trigger since it interferes in the configuration of the individuals' lives. We also consider that the study presented here is in line with the research carried out on youth, it is relevant to its direct context - IFMG / GV - as it is unpublished, as well as contributing to the improvement of policies that deal with the theme Education Professional.

The present work intends to analyze the implementation of the Conecta in the sectors of Academic Register and Management of People in the IFMG. Administrative, economic, personnel management, and many others justify further study of this new administrative moment in which there is a very large increase in processes and situations that need to be deliberated by managers. The purpose of this paper was to analyze and evaluate the flows of the processes of the Academic Registry and People Management of the Conecta System in the IFMG, its implications in the institutional modus operandi and also in teaching-learning. The methodology employed included a variety of research techniques such as documentary research, participant observation, semi-structured interviews and questionnaires, which combined, collected the data in order to meet the proposed objective. We also used the data flow diagram for process visualization and word cloud as an analysis tool in interviews. The results indicate that the implementation of Conecta was not carried out in the People Management sector. In the Academic Registry sector, although its implementation has been over 5 years, there are still functions that were not implemented. Even with deficiencies in the implementation process, the data show that in the academic record sector the system meets the needs demanded by the institution to date. It is concluded that the system studied, despite having a cost of millions of reais and years for its implementation, seems to serve only partially the institution as a whole, in order to have a good acceptance among teachers and students, if it is inadequate to meet the needs of the people management sector that requires its replacement by another academic management system.

The National Program of Student Assistance (PNAES) aims to provide students of the federal institutions of education in conditions of socioeconomic vulnerability, conditions for permanence and completion of courses with satisfactory academic performance. This work analyzed the methodology and criteria for the implementation of the National Program of Student Assistance (PAE) of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG) in the São João Evangelista Campus, in relation to scholarships of socioeconomic and academic merit awarded to students of courses, from 2016 to 2018, under the watchful eye of the professionals responsible for their execution and the beneficiaries attended. The nature of this research is qualitative-quantitative. Three techniques of data collection were used: documentary analysis, semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. The interviews and the answers to the discursive question of the questionnaire went through a content analysis as recommended by Silva and Fossá (2015). The objective questions of the questionnaires were processed in Microsoft Excel software and the Google Form platform, then quantified and presented in the form of tables and graphs. The results showed that the implementation methodology adopted by the IFMG-SJE in its Student Assistance Program (PAE) presented faulty points that contributed to the slowness of the process and consequent delay in attendance to students in situations of vulnerability. The IFMG has concentrated efforts to improve the methodology of execution of the PAE and the main route found to achieve this objective has been through the computerization of these processes. The beneficiaries of the IFMG-SJE ECPs were satisfied with the implementation of this program on campus. Among the points to be optimized in order to improve the services provided to the beneficiaries, the following stand out: the participation of the students in the planning of the PAE, the delay in the selection of fellows, the follow-up of the scholarship holders and the participation of the students in the evaluation of the PAE.

We present results of a survey carried out in an agroecological school of the
municipal school network, in the municipality of Águia Branca-ES, with the first
year of elementary school and their families. We aimed to investigate the
generation and diffusion of mathematical knowledge in an ethnomathematical
perspective allied to the principles of agroecology. We proposed pedagogical
actions to work on mathematics content based on existing relationships with
agroecology in the daily life of students, valuing their culture and field activities,
reflecting the collaborative work of the school and families, bringing favorable
daily situations that are offered by education for ethnomathematical experiences
. We also had as proposal to encourage the development of new methodologies
in mathematics teaching, besides praising the collective work. We conduct a
qualitative research activity. In analyzing the development of the research and
establishing relationships between observations, workshop, conversation,
reports, interviews, photographic records provided by the students and their
families, we could see that the use of the teaching and learning strategy
adopted provided the students with the conceptual development in a more
contextualized and meaningful way.

To qualify the course offer, improve its performance and better fulfill its mission, the Higher Education Institutions need to obtain information about their graduates. With the expansion of the Federal Network of Vocational and Technological Education and the significant increase in the use of Information Technology and Information Systems in educational institutions, it is necessary to identify if the institutions are in fact fulfilling their objectives and creating opportunities for the intended public, professionals are also being trained according to their projects according to their area of expertise, human formation and the job market. In this sense, this research aimed to map and characterize the graduates of the Bachelor of Information Systems course at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais campus São João Evangelista through the creation of an egress monitoring portal, containing a questionnaire and tools to engage and interact with graduates in the institution's activities and opportunities in the area of activity and in the job market. For the creation of this portal, it was taken into consideration the 38 egress portals of the Federal Institutes and the system questionnaire with the egresses of the course. To develop these activities was used a qualitative approach with quantitative elements, performed through survey and data analysis of graduates of the course. After the development of the portal, a survey was conducted with the graduates, using the electronic questionnaire contained in the portal. At the end of this work we obtained the results of the data collection of the graduates and their presentation and considerations. Finally, it is hoped that the information obtained from the graduates can contribute as a source of information to improve the quality of teaching and the course, as well as initiate a pilot process of effective and lasting interaction of the graduates with the institution

SOUZA, Hunilson Luiz de. M-Semear: Application Developed as a Support Tool for the Study Group on Ecosystem Restoration of Instituto Terra - Aimorés-MG. 2019. 81p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
This research follows as main line the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT's) in the school environment. Based on many studies, several authors reiterate that technology can be a fundamental ally in the search for a differentiated education. Its main objective is to develop and evaluate the use of a technological tool in the scope of the Center for Studies on Ecosystem Restoration - NERE, of the Terra Institute in Aimorés - MG. The tool in question, developed by the research, is the mobile version of a database with nurseries and their registered species, maintained by Instituto Terra, called Portal Semear. The application, called M-Semear, was produced using the hybrid development method and featured Phonegap / Cordova technology. The M-Semear contains detailed information on various species produced in registered nurseries, has the ability to register matrices (seeds) through geographical location and works with the possibility of being operated offline. The research is considered exploratory, qualitative and quantitative with a population delimited by the core students. They used the application in their teaching activities, after undergoing training. Then, a questionnaire was applied to measure the real effectiveness of the application as a source of research and the satisfaction of students using it. It was found that the adoption of the application in the course was welcomed and could be part of the daily course as a support tool.

NASCIMENTO, Sara Carolina Pereira. “A Verticalização dos Egressos do Curso Técnico Integrado em Agropecuária no Instituto Federal de Minas Gerais Campus São João Evangelista." 2019. 71p. Dissertation (Master in Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
The main objective of the research was to investigate the verticalization of graduates of the Integrated Technical Course in Agriculture - CTIA of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais campus São João Evangelista (FMG-SJE) following the assumptions of Law No. 11.892, of 29 December 2008. The secondary objectives were: to describe the social and personal aspects that led the CTIA graduates to verticalize in a higher level course at IFMG-SJE as well as to characterize and analyze from an educational point of view the influence that the educational bases of the technical course had in the superior course. This research was conducted at the IFMG-SJE targeting the students of the IFMG-SJE Higher courses regularly enrolled in the 2018.1 school year who are graduates of CTIA, corresponding to 42 (forty-two) subjects. The research had the voluntary participation of 32 (thirty two) subjects and is classified as exploratory research with qualitative approach. To achieve the objectives of this research, the bibliographic research, the questionnaire and the interview were used as data collection instruments. For the analysis of qualitative data it was based on the methodology elaborated by Bardin. The results showed that the IFMG fulfills in part its role regarding the verticalization of education by offering only three levels of education, however, there was no effective action in stimulating the permanence of students of technical courses in undergraduate IFMG- SJE. The actions of integration in the educational levels for the exchange of knowledge are not expressive in the perception of the graduates of CTIA. The aspects taken into consideration when choosing the higher education course were the quality of education, the affinity with the area, the ability to get better jobs, proximity to home and low cost of living. The educational bases in the perception of graduates of CTIA provided a significant foundation for students who continued in the area and a deepening of technical knowledge. Student assistance in the perception of graduation from CTIA was considered essential in the training process from the technical course to the undergraduate program, promoting actions aimed at permanence, support and academic success.

The transformations that have taken place over the last years in the organizational models of lodging and tourism have been influenced by the speed of the technological advance in the world, predominantly by the historical transitions local and also the insertion of new models for services of temporary reception.
In this sense, our research sought to identify the transformations that occurred in rural lodging establishments in the municipality of Vassouras, a city in the Paraíba Valley in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, revealing the local trajectory that in the colonial coffee period was the National Economic Capital with great flow of people staying at the "Barão do Cafés" farms, which also used slave labor to perform domestic services for the maintenance of these receiving facilities.
With the decline of the slave economic model and other factors linked to coffee production, the lodging farms that received coffee negotiators were gradually abandoned, sold and nowadays transformed into hotel spaces of local economic relevance, thus reborn with imperial opulence different local historic tourism lodges.
In order to do so, our research sought to map the transformation process that occurred in the lodging establishments, from the case study, in the approach of the trajectory of Fazenda Luiz da Boa Sorte, the only lodging house of the period of the "coffee barons" of the valley of the Paraíba that has in its old house of lodging, today the present headquarters house of the Farm with a hotel establishment.
In order to do so, we prepared a qualitative analysis based on field research in loco, documentary bibliographies and round of conversations with local residents and employees of the enterprise that gave support to the assembly of this work.
The results pointed out by this work show that the changes in the strategies adopted by the new lodging models as well as the lack of stood as agent of fomenting rural tourism for the insertion and rescue of local history has been one of the important strategies to strengthen it so the local and regional economic arrangements, in the various instances, seeking to contribute to the balanced development of new spaces for local and regional Historic Tourism, committed to ethical issues, and ecological and economic sustainability.

SOUZA, Ritele Márcia de. Influence of the managerial strategies of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais on the availability of didactic resources in the São João Evangelista Campus. 2019. xx p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
The strategic decisions adopted by the managers of an organization have as main focus to optimize their chances of success through the achievement of their final objectives. These decisions may interfere with the various activities performed in the various segments of the institution. However, notwithstanding the purpose of contributing to success, strategic decisions can often become a hindrance in the performance of certain activities. The purpose of this study is to verify the influence that the management strategies adopted by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais (IFMG), since its creation in 2008 (a period in which a centralized management model was adopted), up to the current days (period in phase of decentralization), exercise in the process of acquisition and availability of didactic resources for the São João Evangelista Campus. In order to subsidize the research, and in order to collect necessary information, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the employees linked to the Administration and Planning Department of the São João Evangelista Campus, who work or have already worked directly with the planning and purchasing processes of goods and services. We also conducted semi-structured interviews directed to the teachers of the Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, in order to understand the importance and effectiveness of the use of didactic resources in the disciplines offered in the curriculum, as well as to identify aspects related to the availability of such resources. The obtained results allow to identify potential failures in IFMG management strategies, as well as to propose solutions that add quality to the offered service, allowing the institution to reach a differential with the competitive market and, therefore, reach its final objectives.

This research aimed to identify if Mathematics can be configured as a propulsive area for the accomplishment of curricular integration in the IFMG / Campus São João Evangelista Agricultural Integrated Technical Course. The methodology was based on the qualitative approach, with bibliographical and documentary researches, besides the data collection through the application of questionnaires and interviews with the purpose of analyzing the understanding of the students, teachers and managers of the intuition regarding the possibility of Mathematics in the promotion of integration curricular. It was also sought to identify the main reasons that challenge the effective implementation of the integration of Mathematics in CTIA. With the questionnaires and interviews the need for the learning of Mathematics was evidenced in an integrated way, since this science is interconnected to several disciplines of the professional formation. A survey of topics / mathematical contents within the Integrated Technical Course in Agriculture that subsidize a proposal of curricular integration was carried out; and together with the forms of insertion of these contents, will be taken as a suggestion for the development of the CTIA in an integrated way. It was concluded that Mathematics can become a motivator in the CTIA curricular integration, since the course context develops in a field that constantly needs to use Mathematics. However, faced with the difficulties of the students in this science and of the teachers in working on integration, it should be emphasized that there is a need to prepare the students and teachers for the integration to be realized effectively.

OLIVEIRA, Renato Rechieri. The approach of the environmental legislation in the Technical Course in Agriculture of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais - São João Evangelista. 2019. 82p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
Maintaining the quality of life of all living beings depends on the intricate and fragile balance of the ecosystem. The preservation of the environment is crucial for life to remain and develop, free from the negative impacts of human intervention. The study of environmental legislation as an education tool is extremely important for the professional training of the individual who is interested in the environmental sciences, especially the agricultural technician, who is the subject of this study. In this sense, the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais offers a technical course in agriculture and livestock, offered at the São João Evangelista campus, where in general terms this professional manages the natural resources in a sustainable manner, producing seeds and inputs, developing rural management and cultural, observing the environmental legislation. All the technical and practical knowledge obtained contributes to the environmental education, taking to the rural producers all the baggage that it acquired during the course. Nevertheless, in an analysis of the pedagogical project of the course, we observe the absence of a discipline that deals with environmental legislation, since the other skills and knowledge of the profession are foreseen in the pedagogical project. Thus, the following problem arises: The student of the technical course in agriculture is being guided as to the legal issues that involve the environment? Also, if the environmental theme is treated in an interdisciplinary way, can we affirm that the egress is able to apply its knowledge in the rigors of environmental legislation? Such questioning arises, since the application of knowledge may not be effective, since even though the student implements sustainable and advanced techniques of production, legal predictions may not be observed. The objective of this work is to analyze how environmental legislation is approached in the agricultural technical course of the São João Evangelista campus, as well as to evaluate how the theme can best be applied, contributing as a discipline or in an interdisciplinary way in the itinerary of the student. The methodology proposed for the research fits the qualitative data model, using as research techniques: documentary analysis, bibliographic research and case study through questionnaires applied to students, and interviews to the teachers of the course. At the end of the study, it is concluded that the absence of the approach regarding environmental legislation during the course can result in a lack of professional performance of the student, culminated in situations where the development of the activity may be detrimental as far as the occasions involving application of environmental law.

Cultural expression is what is most valuable in protect any form of human expressiveness. In state of Amapá, Marabaixo takes form as the maximum expression of its culture, bringing in its essence the history of the State, recorded in its most loyal and perfect authenticity, the music. The "ladrões" of Marabaixo, songs produced and typical of this cultural manifestation, depict the history and condition of the Negro in Amapá as in all Brazil in its historical and social construction. In this context, the objective of this research was to identify and analyze in the new productions of "ladrões" of Marabaixo, through the Singing Marabaixo in schools Project, possible identitary and historical cultural relations of young people. The study was conducted in three schools, through semi-structured interviews with students, coordinators and teachers participating in the project in the year 2018, as well as the old and new "thieves" of Marabaixo were analyzed discursively according to their social bias. The results indicated that the students, for the most part, did not know much about Marabaixo's relationship with the historical construction of Amapá and the project came precisely to add this knowledge. The teachers and coordinators of the project at the school were able to playfully make the student's learning possible. The research brought in this sense, the encounter of the individual with his own history, thus making him reflect on his condition as a being and his role as an active social actor.

Contributions of the Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) for the graduates of the degree course in Mathematics of the Instituto Federal Minas Gerais - São João Evangelista Campus. 2019. 81p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute de Agronomia, Universidade Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
The present research consists in studying the contributions of the Institutional Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) for the graduates of the degree course in Mathematics of the Instituto Federal Minas Gerais - São João Evangelista Campus. Considering that the intention of the research aims at a meaningful interpretation of the processes for which early-stage teachers are submitted, the approach is qualitative. The research instruments used were: documentary research, questionnaires and interviews. As a theoretical reference for the research, we search in Gatti (2010); Nóvoa (1995); Ponte et al. (2001); Tardif and Raymon (2010); Wiebusch and Ramos (2012), studies on initial teacher education; and in Gatti et al. (2014); Lopes, Traldi and Ferreira (2015), surveys related to PIBID. In addition, we sought to align the activities developed in PIBID with the literacy work developed by Paulo Freire and his team in Guiné-Bissau, through his work "Letters to Guinea-Bissau", 1978. An analysis of the Pedagogical Project of the Mathematics Degree Course of the Instituto Federal Minas Gerais - São João Evangelista Campus, the PIBID legislation, the PIBID Subprojects submitted to CAPES in 2011 and 2013, as well as the annual reports from 2011 to 2016. After analyzing these data and the theoretical reference, a questionnaire was prepared and sent to the graduates. With the answers of these questionnaires, it was possible, mainly, to verify, among the graduates, those who participated in the activities of PIBID and that they are currently teaching. After analyzing the data presented by the questionnaire, an interview was conducted with some graduates, in order to deepen the objectives proposed by the research. With the interview, it was possible to perceive the importance for these graduates to participate in Teaching Initiation Programs, reinforcing their school experiences as teachers in formation.

MELO, Renata Gomes de Lima. Production Sites: Contextualizing Technical Training in Agriculture for the Amazonian realities in the construction of Sovereignty and Food Security in Tefé / AM, 2019. 104p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy. Graduate Program in Agricultural Education (PPGEA). Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
Promoting food security is the main function of agriculture for society. In this sense, Productive Quintals are considered alternative systems to complement food demand, in addition to the potential of ecological sustainability and their importance becomes even more evident when we know that there is a positive correlation between the products of the backyards and the frequency of consumption of the products by families. Considering that the production sites analyzed are located in the northern region, which is located in Amazonas, this work proposes to understand the contributions of productive yards in the training of agricultural technicians in relation to the construction of knowledge about food sovereignty and security in Tefé-AM. This is a basic research whose character is descriptive and qualitative approach. In order to obtain information about the characteristics and opinions of a certain group of people, an action research was carried out and some instruments of data collection were used, namely: interview scripts, talk wheels, application of questionnaires, transcription of the talk wheels and the visits made. As a technique for data treatment and analysis we used the discourse analysis of some of the speeches of the subjects involved in the research during the moments of the talk wheels, interviews, as well as tables elaborated from the questionnaires. In this study, 4 families from the Tefé National Forest (Flona) were included as well as students from the agricultural technical course in an integrated way. As the work involved the discussion about the contextualisation of the training of the Agricultural Technician with the Production Backyards, we had results obtained through the action research, where the residents of the selected backyards had the opportunity to know the importance and relevance of the agricultural practices carried out in productive yards and bring to the center of the discussions the concepts of food security and backyards of the Amazonian reality and the students had the opportunity to exchange knowledge. In this way we can say that knowledge goes beyond productive yards, because what is important is the change in thinking, making and applying new learning, new methodologies and pedagogical techniques related to the education process of our students. It was possible to identify that the families have the production for the consumption of their family, what evidences an improved nutritional contribution and complements the food security of these families. The main conclusions of the research were that it is necessary to share impressions and experiences, disseminating different understandings. Through the use of Pedagogical Workshop, it was possible to perceive that the students were motivated to think and rethink concepts studied in the classroom, the participation of the students allowed the sharing of experiences, so that there was thus the contextualization of knowledge of the living room class of students. Using the productive yard as a learning tool is enriching for the students' educational process. This subsystem contributes to the construction of knowledge about healthy eating, self-consumption, sale, techniques, use of medicinal plants, animal husbandry. This makes it clear that the yard is not limited to just one family farm space, but it takes a new direction that enlarges its dimensions. Therefore, with this research, it is evident that in order to make education contextualized, it is necessary to give voice to the subjects, whether from the countryside or from the city, from the educational institution (teachers, students) and from other subjects who intend to add ideas new and productive to bring the learning that happens in life with the knowledge passed on in educational institutions. That way, we will have an education that will make more sense for everyone.

This paper approached the extension as an educational process trough understanding the new meanings that make learning more meaningful, the search for teaching and learning outcomes, and the drive to build citizenship. From this context, this research was developed at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas, Campus Itacoatiara, having as participants the students from Technical Course in the Subsequent Form in Farming. In order to analyze the contribution of extension activities in the construction of knowledge from the activities developed in family farming in communities around IFAM CITA. And specifically, (I) verify students' knowledge about family farming with a focus on the cost of production of production processes, (II) demonstrate in a contextual way how knowledge of the cost of production influences the decision making of production processes in the family farming and (III) characterize the production in the locality that contributed to the contextualization of production costs. The research was descriptive, with a qualitative / quantitative approach with data obtained through field research. The procedures and instruments for data collection were through questionnaires, form, interviews and participant observation. The qualitative data analyzes were based on the interviewees' speech description based on the content analysis, followed by the categorization of the speech and interpretation of the inferences. Quantitative data were analyzed based on descriptive and nonparametric statistics. The study was developed in two stages: a group of seventeen students from the 3rd module of the Technical Course in Farming, in which previous knowledge about family farming, the cost of production during the production process and the knowledge built from activities developed, and the second, with ten farmers, where students applied a socioeconomic form and gave a lecture to present the results obtained in the field research. The research analyzed how the extension activities developed by IFAM CITA in family farming prepare their students for field work, either as an agricultural technician, extensionist or independent consultant in the agricultural sector. The relevance of the research consists in the approximation between Institution-Community in order to understand the importance of the articulations promoted to students by the practice of extension activities. In addition, the research showed to the students the contribution of these activities as an educational reference and the possibility of association between theory and practice. Thus, the study showed that by participating in extension activities the student better understands their education and the professional profile that aims to build through these praxis, because it allows them to know, interact and have new experiences that will make their learning meaningful.

ARAÚJO, Avânia Maria Cordeiro de. “Contributions of the Technical Course in Farming, distance education, from the perception of the graduates in the riverside communities Arapapá and Pesqueiro in the municipality of Manacapuru-AM”. 2019. 81p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
This research aimed to analyze the contribution of the technical course in agriculture, distance education modality (EaD) and its process of formation and development of graduates in their locality. The locus of the research were to the communities Costa do Arapapá and the Costa do Pesqueiro, in the municipality of Manacapuru, State of Amazonas. The target public were the graduates of the technical course in agriculture in the mode of Distance education (EaD) of the Federal Institute of Amazonas (IFAM). The methodology was based on qualitative and quantitative approaches, configuring as an exploratory, descriptive, case study and bibliographic research. The data collection instruments were two questionnaires, one from profile and another investigative and the participants were twenty five graduates from the technical course in agriculture in the EaD modality in the coastal communities of the Pesqueiro coast and the coast of Arapapá. The research project was submitted to the Research Ethics Committee of IFAM and was approved by Opinion No. 3.291,523. It was possible to diagnose that almost all reside in the rural area and is over thirty-one years old, children of farmers. Studying via EaD was the way to obtain qualification, reconcile work and study without having to leave their communities and subsequently apply what they learned in their locality, since they are agricultural-based communities. The EaD model in the agricultural area does not correspond to the specificity of the national agricultural education policy. There was a lack of a greater number of practical classes and field visits to contextualize practical theoretical knowledge in a deeper way, that is, the few field classes left a gap in learning. This model interests the student, but should be revitalized, including greater workload for teaching practices or targeted technical visits. In the results, it was verified that the professional practice in family farming maintains a direct relationship with the acquired knowledge, achieving the expectations desired by the graduates, as well as these actions can be perfected with the consolidation of Partnerships with other institutions such as IDAM, INPA, since these organs that are present in Amazonas, are of practical, biological and forestry agricultural basis. Thus, it is noteworthy that the technical course in agriculture in the EaD modality has relevance in the localities studied and that the graduates use the knowledge acquired in their practice of family farming.

The present study was developed at a Quilombola Community in the City of Cantagalo, in the State of Minas Gerais, including the Municipal School, which offers 1st to 5th year in Serial Regime, aiming to analyze if the teaching practice in the school has contributed to the maintenance and preservation of the cultural expressions of the Quilombola Community of São Félix and how to work the formal education in the Mocambo context. We analyze the cultural expressions of the children enrolled from August 2017 to May 2019, together with their customs and cultural representations, where we perceive scarcity of cultural valuation in interface with the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC); moreover, we do not locate the memory register, of the tradition, through the stories told by the elders. In that sense, the culture and tradition of its people may possibly be lost over time. The methodology used to carry out this research was a qualitative approach, which enabled a broader view of the Quilombola São Felix Community. We interviewed all the teachers, students and their families, together with constant visits in the community, followed by a photographic record and in the field diary, always seeking an answer for our concerns, but always adopting an Epoché posture, seeking to investigate the essence of the study, that my conviction of life becomes promising in the research. We analyze this information by appreciating the current legislation for Quilombola Communities, consuming a bibliographical reference on the subject, where it is perceived the importance of working the teaching and the competences, taking into account the knowledge, ethnicity and the predominant habits of the community, one notices that the teachers who acted in the school, during the research, sighted a look at the need to incorporate culture in classroom teaching, possibly a lot still needs to be done, I emphasize in particular: Pedagogical Guidance, Support of the Educational Direction of Municipality of Cantagalo, Teacher Training and Motivation, updating of a multidisciplinary team, where it is likely to carry out the inclusion of Quilombo in Education, in society.

CARDOSO, Carla Elizabeth Brito de Lima. The brown sugar production and its contributions to the formation of the technician in Farming - Case Study in Vila União Community, Eirunepe - Amazon. 111p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education) - Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. August 2019.
This research aimed to demonstrate the contributions of brown sugar production by family farmers of Vila União Community, located in Eirunepé / AM, in the process of training of the Agricultural Technician of IFAM / Campus Eirunepé. The participants of this research were the students of the 3rd year of the technical course in agriculture and the farmers’s family producing brown sugar from the community. The research is qualitative and quantitative with case study approach. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires and educational workshop for students and semi-structured interviews and forms for family farmers. Qualitative data were grouped into categories, analyzed and transcribed into the text, and quantitative data were analyzed in percentages and Excel Software, by type of participants and presented in tables, tables and graphs. The results of the research showed that sugarcane planting for the consumption of its derivatives has been a tradition in the community for over 60 years, and that farmers had a period of great production and commercialization of brown sugar, currently due to poor management and closure of the cooperative are having difficulty in commercialization. The association is practically paralyzed and they are having several difficulties, and without support from the public power. Students after participating in the pedagogical activities of this project obtained a noticeable learning level, as for example, the level of perception regarding the importance of brown sugar for the municipality in the IT (initial test) questionnaires was 43% and in the second FT questionnaire. (final test) were 93%, showing an increase of 50% in the perception of students in this item. We conclude that the method of the pedagogical workshop contributed to add knowledge to the students with better perceptions about the importance of brown sugar for the community and for the municipality, and also to expand the holistic view of the agricultural environment in which they live. Another important aggregation of knowledge was the opportunity that students had to know the processes related to the production of brown sugar (gramixó), since this product is not included in any course discipline. Therefore, we suggest that the processing of sugarcane products be included and administered to the next classes.

CITRINI, Sílvia Machado. Narrativas e Experiência”: a prática de extensão rural agroecológica no processo de formação das jovens Amazonenses. 2019. 88p. Dissertation (Master Science in Agricultural Education). Instituto de Agronomia, Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
This research analyses the relationship between narratives created by five young students from the Integrated Technical Course in Farming of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas, Tefé Campus, and their participation on the extension project “Mulheres da Floresta”. As a methodology predominantly qualitative, under the premise of content analysis, the interviews had a focus on the access of the memories, the narrative elements, and the experiences identified by the young during the activities proposed by the project. In face of the exposed, the categories of analysis were organized over three thematic axie: Rural Extension as a beacon of significative learning; The knowledge of experience on Rural Extension and Rural Extension on the Amazon Florest. Besides that, it was wanted to know the profile of the young participants, and the indicators of their social life: The reason that took them to study on a technical course, their expectations, educational needs, personally and professionally. With the investigation, it was also wanted to contribute with the process of identification of conceptions that relate to the practice of Extension and Rural Communication, and what are the impacts on the professional development. The results collected were the identification of ten narrative elements — proximity of FLONA, water dynamics, the process of teaching/learning, the field activities, the project results and agroecology — that were guiding the process of signification and comprehension of the experiences generated by the extension practices. Considering the limitations of this study, it was concluded that there are relationships between the experienced by the young during the activities of the rural extension project and the knowledge of experience. This relationship was expressed by the narrative elements, when contextualized. The research pointed out the participation of the students on the field activities, the proposition of rural extension dialogic, the recognition of socioenvironmental and cultural singularities of the region, the factual connection between the technical content and the environment over the praxis, and the well being of a young woman facing sociocultural aspects of the region. It was pointed out that, besides being a viable alternative for supporting the current limitations of Tefé Campus’ infrastructure, the rural extension activities are a way found by the Federal Institute of Education to reaffirm its commitment with the amazon community, providing a technical/professional education in concise farming, in order to develop and strengthen the primary chain on the Amazon region.

VIANA, Wellington de Arruda. The theme of pesticides in environmental technician training From the Federal Institute of Amazonas. 2019. 65p. Dissertation (Master in Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
Brazil stands out as one of the largest agricultural producers in the world, reaching second place in the export index of these products. At the same time, the country emerges as the largest consumer of pesticides in the world ranking. In a Brazilian regional perspective on the subject, we have the state of Amazonas as a major consumer of pesticides, because, according to recent research, consumes fifty percent more than the national average. In this scenario is the city of Itacoatiara, the largest producer of Amazonian pineapple, emerging in eighth position in the national ranking of fruit production, being one of the largest sources of income in the city. Parallel to the growth in the use of these compounds, normative acts were created to regulate their use, having as a major milestone Law 7.802/1989 known as the Law on Pesticides. However, despite the existing legal framework, few farmers know and practice what determines such laws. It is in this context that Environmental Education emerges as a promoter of knowledge on the subject in question, from a methodology where man learns how the environment works and its importance, acting in the development of sustainable actions. The city of Itacoatiara has a campus of the Federal Institute of Amazonas (IFAM), which in turn offers the technical courses in Environment and Farming. That said, the objective of this research arises from the need to investigate and understand the knowledge level of students of the Environmental Technical Course (IFAM), about pesticides and their handling, but specifically the pineapple cultivation, as it is the most representative crop in the region. It is hoped, with this work, to contribute to the formation of these students, by understanding the problem in the above mentioned municipality, in line with the legal, educational and environmental aspects. Thus, it is believed that this work can contribute to the formation of future environmental multipliers, for a balanced, healthy and quality environment, for present and future generations, as provided for in the Federal Constitution.

ALHO, Jackson Mitoso. Local productive arrangement of fish farming and its contribution to teaching and learning in the context of the Technical Course in Fishery Resources of the Federal Institute of Amazonas – Coari Campus. 2019. 58p. Dissertation (Master Science in Education). Instituto de Agronomia, Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
This research was developed within the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas, Coari Campus (IFAM/CCO) with the participation of 13 students of the Technical Course of Fishery Resources in the subsequent form. The main objective of this work was to analyze how the local productive arrangement of fish farming, their knowledge and skills, contribute to the training of Fishery Resources Technicians at IFAM Coari Campus. To this end, action research was carried out through a pedagogical workshop that required a relationship structure between the researcher and people involved in the study of the participative and collective reality. The pedagogical workshop took place in two moments; the first one occurred at Fazenda São Francisco, where practical activities made daily by a technical professional in Fishery Resources were developed, involving students, teachers and fish producers. In a second moment, a conversation round was held at IFAM Coari Campus with students, teachers, fish farmers and other fish farming productive arrangement agents in Coari. On that occasion, the process of teaching and learning from the experiences in local productive arrangement, specifically in fish farming, was discussed, emphasizing the students' perception from the perspective of the relationship between scientific and traditional knowledge. Through the results and the light of authors such as Paulo Freire and Edgar Morin, it is highlighted the importance of traditional knowledge in the construction of a teaching and learning process that is capable of sensitizing and motivating students to seek knowledge supported by their local reality. Through this understanding, it is reaffirmed that this work is relevant to students, teachers, the academic community of IFAM and fish farming local productive arrangement agents, who now have another instrument that reinforces the idea of rethinking the teaching methods employed, which are, in most cases, disconnect from the local reality of the subject of the action.

Degree in Field Education is a course that had its origin as the result of social mobilizations in the Brazilian countryside. At the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, the course is linked to the Department of Field Education, Social Movements and Diversity of the Institute of Education and has been affected by the restrictive spending measures imposed by the federal government since December 2016. In this context, the objective of this research was to evaluate possible impacts caused in the course and its perspectives before the economic crisis of the country. Therefore, interviews were carried out with the faculty member of the financial area of UFRRJ, with the teachers who work in the Field Education Degree course, in October and November of 2018, also research was done on institutional documents. The results demonstrated that there is a direct financial impact on the course and that it has been necessary to use creative ways to attend the pedagogical proposals of the course. The research showed that despite the perceived impacts by the teachers as a result of the limitation of public expenditures, the perspectives of the course in Field Education of the UFRRJ are positive.

SANTOS, Jeconias Ferreira. Diagnosis of the Use of Information and Communication Technology Resources in the Improvement of Technical Training in Farming at Manaus Campus East Zone of the Federal Institute of Amazonas. 2019. 69 p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
It is remarkable the advance of the use of precision technologies, software, sensors, georeferencing technology, among other resources in the field of agrarian sciences, therefore, it is necessary to prepare the students of the technical course in agriculture for this market reality. Therefore, it is important to study the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) resources throughout the training of the agricultural technician, in order to identify how these resources can assist the student in the learning of field and field techniques. make their professional performance more efficient and effective with the help of technology. This research aims to present a diagnosis of the use of ICT resources, from the perspective of teachers and students, allied with the technical knowledge of agriculture, to improve the training of the technician in agriculture. To this end, it was necessary to project some specific objectives: to diagnose the curriculum components of the vocational training axis capable of applying ICT resources in its activities; verify how ICT tools can be used in practice, from the perspective of the teachers of the technical areas of the Technical Course in Agriculture; understand, apply and recommend the use of ICT resources in their daily lives and learning environment. The present work carried out a quantitative and qualitative descriptive research of documentary type and field studies regarding its level of deepening. Regarding the procedures, the research was carried out through a field study, where the data that were collected at the research site were collected and analyzed, through techniques such as observation, questionnaires application, interviews and documentary survey. Through the collected data, it was possible to reach the initial purpose and some points deserve to be highlighted. The initial training of teachers who teach technical training classes is deficient regarding the use of resources of information and communication technologies, which limits the initial performance of teachers in their pedagogical praxis. However, there is the effort on the part of teachers, to know more and know how to use these resources, and understand the importance of using them as tools that help in the learning process. The students showed in the research their interest for applications mostly on mobile platform, for the ease of access and their habituality with the smartphone. Both groups suggest tools to be used and recognize the importance of using ICT resources to help the learning process, whether for the ease, interaction, curiosity and dynamism that the use of resources proposes to classes. It is also important to highlight the existing dichotomy between the tools used by teachers and those with which students have the most interest and usability. The result of this research suggests that there are important practices to be adopted: the need for teacher training to use technological resources; the need for interaction between teachers in search of solutions and practices that enable better training of the technician, as well as promoting interdisciplinarity, bringing optimization of the use of technological resources, often scarce in the campus structure; The teacher's practice needs to be reevaluated and include the use of tools such as mobile applications in the technical area, computer applications for agricultural use, video platform (Youtube), use of GPS among others, which can improve technical education in agriculture, combining agricultural knowledge with the use of existing technological resources in the field of professional activity of agriculture.

The Quilombola Community of Curiaú is located within the Environmental Protection Area of the Curiaú River, with its population of most descendants of slaves. The present research has as general objective to investigate the relations that the quilombola community of the Curiaú in Amapá maintains with its Area of Environmental Protection and as specific objectives to seek to understand the historical relations of the quilombola community with the constitution of the APA of the Curiaú, to identify from the traditional knowledge (representations and practices), as the remaining quilombola remnants relate to ongoing changes in the region and environmental preservation. Methodologically, the research fits into the ethnographic-descriptive method. To do this, a semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection method with 09 community residents, talk wheels and field observations, following discursive and environmental theories for their analysis. As a theoretical framework of this study, the line of the theory of environmental social representations and practices was followed. The results obtained allow us to evaluate that the inhabitants of the quilombola communities of the studied areas are people very committed to the local environment. As in the opinion of the interviewees, they agree on the protection of the natural environment so that the next generations can enjoy this land that is not only one person, but an entire community that, in addition to protecting the ecosystem, has to spread and maintain the their cultural heritage.

OLIVEIRA JÚNIOR, Celso Eulálio de. The pedagogy of alternation and the construction of agroecological knowledge in the north of Espírito Santo state: challenges and possibilities. 2019. 193p. Dissertation (Master in Education) – Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ, 2019.
The emergence and advancement of agribusiness over the northern state of Espírito Santo has brought about profound environmental, social, political and economic transformations in the territory of Espírito Santo. These contradictions provoked the organization of several people who, through individual and collective initiatives, through organizations, social and professional movements, sought alternatives to counter this system. In this sense, the movement starting from the alternative agriculture, especially in the 80's of the last century, advances towards agroecology in the end of 1990 and since then, it has been emerging as a possibility to overcome the hegemonic system, widely installed in the environment. Ceffa’s have been an important partner of peasants, contributing historically to their struggles, and being an important educator of leaders and practitioners of agroecology, since many of these at some point in their life have established some kind of relationship with these schools . However, in the last few years, some questions have arisen about the effective contribution of secondary schools that offer technical courses in agriculture and livestock, in the construction of agroecological knowledge. Thus, with the present study, we seek to deepen these questions, seeking to investigate the relationship between these schools and the construction of agroecological knowledge. To this end, we supported the presuppositions of the action research, which enabled a participatory research, involving through RACEFFAES, the representatives of the families and the educators of the Ceffa’s, through the ACA, with the social organizations of the field that relate with agroecology. The results show that Ceffa's have not always had an alternative proposal in relation to agriculture, but have always been committed to peasant causes and human development. From their involvement with alternative agriculture, especially with agriculture between the 1980s and the mid-1990s, and then with agroecology at the end of those years, the schools surveyed, despite the challenges faced in the political dimension and pedagogical, are seeking to strengthen their agro-ecological praxis, strengthening their construction in the territories where they are inserted and contributing to the overcoming of capitalism.

Brazil has been achieving high levels of productivity and has been occupying a prominent place in the production of pork meat. The Brazilian pig production has been facing great challenges to be in this prominent place, which demands high quality of professional training in the area. The teaching of swine farming at the IFMG-SJE currently faces difficulties in giving practical classes and applying new technologies, as it has facilities dating from the 70's, which are in precarious conditions and in non-compliance with environmental requirements. The new challenges of the consumer market require the length of animal welfare, and today is a path of no return. A new awareness has been formed about respect for animals living under the control of man. For Brazil to remain strong, it will be necessary to invest in research, technologies and training of labor for large and small producers. The objective of this research was the elaboration of a preliminary project so that future pig breeding facilities contribute to the teachers have good conditions to teach practical classes, students develop research projects and that small producers in the region can participate in improvement courses. Where the environment is respected, with proper waste management and animal welfare conditions.

MIRANDA, Jaqueline Aparecida Domingos de. Agroecology approach in the Agronomy courses of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais - São João Evangelista Campus and the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. 2019. 82 p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
The present work intended to clarify how agroecology is worked in the Agronomy courses of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais - São João Evangelista Campus (IFMG-SJE) and the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). The general objective was to evaluate the relationship of students and teachers with agroecology. For data collection we used: (a) pedagogical projects of the courses (PPCs) and course completion works (TCCs) of the years 2015, 2016 and 2017; (b) questionnaires for teachers from all periods and students from the final periods of the IFMG-SJE and UFRRJ Higher Agronomy Courses who agreed to participate in the research. In the analysis of the PPCs of the IFMG and UFRRJ Agronomy courses, there were different approaches to agroecology: in IFMG-SJE there is a compulsory course that works on the subject while at UFRRJ there is a larger number of disciplines working on the subject and address agroecological practices. Concerning PPCs, UFRRJ Agronomy course had a concern with environmental and social issues; At IFMG-SJE, the concern to train professionals aware of environmental issues became more evident. With the analysis of the TCCs, it was possible to identify that, on average, the studies that approached agroecology was low; TCCs from 2017 of IFMG-SJE stood out in comparison to the other years analyzed in the two researched institutions. Importantly, despite the low number, the studies showed general environmental concern, presenting positive results for agroecology. Research, extension, TCC reports and internships focused on agroecology are produced in both institutions according to questionnaires applied to teachers and students. It was also noticed that there is a concern of participants with environmental issues, although students have presented knowledge about agroecology, in general, without deepening.

Many factors affect students' academic performance in high school, seek to understand what leads academics to choose the course and remain in it, whether their socioeconomic profile influences their interest in the course is important, both for the academic network and for the institutions, since it can serve as a basis for creating preventive measures for the academic and personal development of students. In this context, the objective of this study is to investigate the factors that influence in and beyond the school performance of the students of the Integrated Farming Course of the Federal Institute of Amazonas - Campus Parintins (IFAM - Parintins). history of the course and the institution, the socioeconomic profiles of the students, find out the influence of the extraclass activities and what future perspectives these students have after leaving the integrated technical course in Farming. The research methods were based on the qualitative research with dialectical approach, where the subjects (students) answered questionnaire objectively and through the talk wheel method presented their perceptions regarding the course and the institution. With these discussions, it was possible to conclude that students' performance is not only linked to their interests in teaching / learning, but rather can be influenced and affected by family opinions, family and institutional structure and relationships with teachers and classmates. It was observed that the Institution, as well as other federal institutions in Brazil, does not have a specific physical structure to maintain the course in its entirety, the lack of laboratories is an obstacle to students practical activities. However, technical visits in areas and partner sites of the Institution, served as an escape valve for the students' practical contact with the course. It was also verified that, the majority of the students of the integrated course of Farming are of families of low income, where they use of the resources offered by the Institution to be maintained in full time. However, such financial situation of the students does not affect in their future perceptions. Within the perceptions of the students it was observed that, after joining the course of Farming, they started a new school reality, where they should dedicate more, beyond which, they came to formalize more critical opinions and perspectives of a better future, if try harder and seek professionalism. It was also emphasized that it is paramount for the student's academic performance, his relationships with teachers and among his classmates. With their perceptions, it was observed that the teaching method of the teachers are what cause the interest of the students in the contents of the course. Therefore, it is concluded that the school has great participation of the vocational decision of the student, forming and delineating their critical opinions and influencing in their academic and personal performance.

PINTO, Maria Lúcia Barbosa. Investigating Teacher Training in the Expansion Process of the Federal Institute of Education Sciences and Technology of Minas Gerais - São João Evangelista Campus. 2019. 93p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
The present work presents an analysis about the continued formation of the teacher in the process of expansion of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais - Campus São João Evangelista (SJE). The main objective of this research was to identify and analyze the process of continuous training of the teachers of the SJE campus, investigating the reflexions of PhD training in the career of teachers, their pedagogical practice, student training and institutional and local development. The research was set up as a case study, according to Martins (2006), on an empirical basis, in a qualitative approach with quantitative support to support the analyzes and interpretations of the data. For the data collection, the following methodological course was used: through Documentary Analysis, the main documents being: Laws, Decrees, Resolutions, Records, records of documents in Files of the People Management Sector of SJE, having as techniques and use of the instruments: observation, questionnaire applied to the eleven professors participating in the specified doctorate, interview with two managers who participated in the negotiations to implement the accomplishment of this doctorate, documentary research and functional registers of servers. Initially the study of the theoretical reference was made to support the field work. Thus, the historical contextualization of the Professional and Technological Education was made in Brazil, in the period between the process of industrialization of the country up to the present moment, to understand the influence of the productive process in the educational system. It also addressed the teacher training for PE, seeking considerations about the knowledge needed for the teacher in this area of training. The data were analyzed by means of tables and graphs, and the speeches were compared with the theoretical reflections. Through this research, it is believed that it was possible to elucidate situations about the continued formation in the SJE campus, contributing to a reflection of the PE in the institutions of technical and technological education, as well as that this modality of education has been turned towards a duality structural as regards basic and vocational training, also the process of continuous training of the servants has been well conceived and carried out in the IFMG.

MOREIRA, Bruno Magno. Knowing insects from the perspective of environmental education. 2019. 47p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019
The psychological manifestations an insect is capable of causing in people range from dread, fear, and disgust. Humans accustomed to living in large cities eventually lost touch with nature and thus also lost the ability to identify and discern the real functions of living things like insects. The idea also prevails that insects are disease-transmitting, plant-destroying, and economically damaging individuals, that is, "pests." This research aimed to know the reactions to insects of a school audience, to apply a practical school project of environmental education as a way to modify their pessimistic knowledge about the subject and to improve the feeling that these students have about the insects. The work was carried out with senior students from three courses: Agricultural Technician, Nutrition and Dietetic Technician and Bachelor of Agronomy, from the São João Evangelista campus of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais. The methods chosen for data collection were the classroom discussion group with the transcription of answers to a series of questions; Practical work in the design of attractive plants for beneficial insects, with collection and identification of this group of organisms, especially beneficial insects. In the end, the students were asked to write a text describing if there were changes in the conception about the insects and the attractive plants, from these texts were made word cloud to find the most relevant terms in the texts. The main results found were that the students from the Technical College in Agriculture and Technical Course in Nutrition and Dietetics had great misinformation and even aversion to insects, having them as plantation pests and disease transmitters. The students of the Bachelor of Agronomy course did not show this aversion to insects, given the knowledge acquired during the course. It was also observed that,, at the end of the work, in the Farming and Nutrition groups there was a significant change in the conception about insects. Besides, acquisition of new knowledge about the attractive plants for beneficial insects occurred, Thus, it was concluded that the use of the demonstrative area of beneficial insects as a method of environmental education was positive to change students' misperceptions about insects

This work aimed to develop environmental education dynamics in a elementary school, taking into consideration the daily life, the students' relationship with the environment and the identification of environmental problems, from the perspective that the subject developed and approached in the classroom has meaning and application. It was assumed that in order for us to work in this dynamic classroom, there must be an appropriation of the concept and practices of interdisciplinarity. Thus, the aim of this study was to investigate the social representations of students of Elementary School of São José Municipal School about the environment, and from this knowledge, develop interdisciplinary activities of Environmental Education. The research was qualitative, using the conversation wheel technique and technical procedures of the participant research, where the students are more than passive subjects of the research but builders of their reality. After the students' participation in the conversation circle, the social representations about the environment were categorized in Anthropocentric, Globalizing and Naturalist and, from the compilation of the interviews, the environmental problems recognized by the students in the school and community were identified. The proposed interdisciplinary activities based their structuring on the central theme, the correlation with the disciplines and the syllabus, and the contextualization of daily life. As a result, it was found that the students' representations were the Globalizing and the Naturalist and from the social representations and the environmental problems presented were developed the interdisciplinary activities on the themes: Environment, Waste and Water. Throughout the research process, daily life was observed, making the researcher familiar to the school context, allowing to notice detail sat sometimes go unnoticed and / or are not recognized. It is concluded that using social representations as an instrument to know the consensual universe and from this proposing interdisciplinary activities, can be one of the means we can use in Environmental Education, since it takes into account the daily life and school knowledge.

ARAÚJO, Marina. Digital media, real students: the use of digital Technologies for the protagonism in textual production in High School. 2019. 81p. Dissertation (Master Science in Agricultural Education). Instituto de Agronomia, Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
The present work has the objective of investigating the possibilities of developing multiliteracies of the students of the technical course in Nutrition and Dietetics integrated to the High School of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG), São João Evangelista campus, through the use of digital technologies during the classes of Portuguese Language. Thus, the didactic proposal specifically seeks to stimulate the production of texts in several genres in a collaborative way and the publication of them in two social networks. By linking the new technologies with classroom practice, students are expected to demonstrate greater interest in producing digital content and are embedded in a proposal that broadens their network of communication and interactivity. Based on several authors, this work brings a theoretical-historical reference that proposes the discussion of the themes: multiletramentos, the protagonism of the young student in the present time and the use of Information and Communication Technologies (TICs) in the learning teaching processes. It was set up as a qualitative research. In order to carry out the research, the techniques and methodological procedures of the action research were searched, making it possible for the classroom experience to come to light through the tried, observed, analyzed and described approach through graphs that result from the compilation of questionnaires applied to students, recording of audios in class, with observations and testimonies of the participants. In the analysis of the data obtained, it is expected that this study will contribute to the emergence of new academic proposals, new perspectives capable of transforming the spaces of institutions, beyond the limits of the physical units for their expansion in virtual environments. It is hoped, furthermore, that the process composed of languages and forms of communication can be demystified, seeking an identification and proximity to the world of the educating young person who is the protagonist.

GOMES, Patrícia da Silva. Project “Production of organic fertilizer from domestic waste in the technical education of the agricultural course: an ecological proposal for the school garden of campus Eirunepé-AM 2019 53p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019. This research was conducted at the Federal Institute of Amazonas – Campus Eirunepé with a class of 30 students (target audience) of the second grade of the vocational high school of the Technical Course in Agriculture in the 2019 school year. With the main objective the production of fertilizer from the processing of domestic organic waste from the municipality of Eirunepé-AM, and contribute significantly as a tool for environmental and food education. In the first moment lectures were held with the students relating the themes and soon after, the methodology of applying questionnaires with open and closed questions was used. Questionnaires were applied to 50 families belonging to the local community, aiming to obtain information regarding composting and their commitment to participate in the separation of organic waste for the collection and preparation of organic fertilizer from composting. Then a compost was built on the model of the windrow that is made on the ground, as if it were a flowerbed or a mound, when the fertilizer was ready, a sample was taken for physical/chemical analysis in the laboratory, to verify its characteristics. After the compost was ready, the pot was planted and the vegetables used were lettuce, arugula and coriander. Each vegetable was planted in five pots (and repeated at 6x each fertilizer concentration) with different proportions of 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100% of the fertilizer, according to recommendations of the Campinas Agronomist Institute (IAC), so that it can be vegetable development and comparisons at the end of the analysis regarding nutrients were verified. Afterwards, the harvest was carried out to perform the feeding practice using the vegetables cultivated. The students accepted the dishes offered well, being receptive to including vegetables in their daily diet. The production of healthy and agrochemical-free foods promotes community awareness through the adoption and transmission of alternative production methods. The compost produced from these residues is rich in nutrients and organic matter that, when returned to the soil, stimulates the life of the earth and contributes greatly to the development and nutrition of plants and the maintenance of soil life and fertility. The participation of the students was extremely important for the construction of the work, as many had no idea of the importance of the activity of organic waste separation and its advantages for sustainability. However, their contribution in this regard was of utmost importance to the end result of the whole process. When we prove that the project is viable and deserves to continue for the next years, aiming to i

PIMENTEL, Reidevandro Machado da Silva. The Use of Personal Protective Equipments - PPEs in the Professional Education at IFAM Campus Parintins: raising awareness to prevent accidents and promote health. 2019. 67p. (Master’s Degree in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
The present study had as investigative question the use of Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) in the practical activities of the 3rd year of Integrated Agriculture Technical Course and 3rd year of Subsequent Module of the Fishing Resources classes, of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas. - Campus Parintins. Considering this, the general objective of the research was to evaluate the perception of the servants (teachers, agricultural technicians) and students of the mentioned classes about the importance of the use of PPEs in health promotion and accident prevention during the practical activities of the courses. The methodology was predominantly qualitative, as instruments of data production, the participant observation and semi-structured interviews which were carried out with a sample referring to the servers who work in these classes, besides the students of the referred course. The results pointed to the non-use of PPEs, the lack of internal rules regarding the health and safety of servers and students, the no-obligation to provide PPEs for servers and the lack of clear legislation regarding the supply of PPEs for students. This present study, which is unprecedented at IFAM, may contribute to the improvement of health promotion and accident prevention policies based on the awareness of managers, servants and students about the safety of practical laboratory and field activities.

REIS, Elival Martins dos. Professional Education and Sustainability: An Assessment of the practical activities of IFAM Campus Manaus Zona Leste Integrated Technical Course on Agriculture. 2019. 51 p. Dissertation (Master in Education). Institute of Agronomy, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
Homo sapiens, a species much newer than plants and other animals, was not born a farmer or breeder, after hundreds of millions of years of hominization, that is, of biological, technical and cultural evolution. Agriculture, domesticated by man, has taken an unsustainable route to nature and its laws. Much of this problem is due to the excessive use of pesticides. Faced with so many environmental imbalances, almost always associated with the traditional model of agricultural production, the use of sustainable techniques in agriculture and their teaching in technical level courses, are necessary for the educational process of man, and serve, if not to curb, at least to minimize the harmful effects caused by traditional agriculture. The study presented in this dissertation stems from the interest in unveiling what really characterizes the relationship between Vocational Education and Sustainability. Thus, the objective of this research was to explain the educational approach that underlies the practical activities of agricultural nature, carried out under the Integrated Technical Course in Agriculture offered by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM), Manaus East Zone Campus (CMZL), under the focus of development. The methodology used consisted of a qualitative case study, bibliographic and documentary research. The unit of analysis was the Institute, with its teaching staff of the technical disciplines, and students from three courses. mentioned. The results showed that the agricultural practices performed in the course are widespread, well accepted by the students and based on the concepts of sustainability and sustainable agriculture.

SALES, Franciana R. Spanish language cultural events at the Federal Institute of Education of Amazonas Campus Advanced Manacapuru: contributions to the internal student community and local speaker. 2019. 88p. Dissertation (Masters in Education). Instituto de Agronomia, Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro Seropédica, RJ, 2019.
This research aimed to present the cultural events of extension in the Spanish language area developed by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas, Advanced Campus Manacapuru. At the same time, it focused to point out their contributions in the students’ teaching-learning process, and from the Intercultural dialogue between students and local Hispanic community to verify the possible contributions from these events to the exercise of citizenship of both subjects. This work was the result of a descriptive research with a qualitative approach that used as a data collection instrument the semi-structured interview with students of the Institute and the local members of the Hispanic community, participants of these cultural events. The theoretical contributions consulted revolved around the importance of considering the interculturality concept in the teaching-learning process, approaching relevant and current issues such as immigration in the Amazon, as the importance and challenges of an education directed to intercultural citizenship in the current school context. Thus, through the analysis of the study, it could be, verified that the cultural events brought significant contributions to the students regarding the learning of the Spanish language, the development of competences, skills and values such as autonomy, cooperation, empathy and solidarity. Also, the events expanded the students' worldview, denaturalizing some prejudices and stereotypes as well as promoting respect and appreciation for cultural diversity. Besides, for the Spanish speakers, the greatest contributions they pointed out were their own interaction with other same language speakers residing in Manacapuru town and their interaction with the Manacapuru community, in addition to the feeling of being accepted and welcomed by that community, sharing their expectations, difficulties and overcoming.

PEDROSO, L.P.J. Between the Fisherman's Stories and the Science of the technical course in Fishing Resources: transdisciplinary meetings in Manacapuru. Seropédica: UFRRJ, 2019. Dissertation. 68p. - Mestrado em Educação Agrícola da Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro - PPGEA / UFRRJ, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
Since the Scientific Cartesian paradigm has been adopted in western societies, the academic knowledge production has held the status of the most important and true, while the knowledge of local communities has been relegated to background position. This is what happens to such communities as the riverside ones. Since the Cartesian model of school, the systematized contents have been dealt with in the various highly specialized areas that often do not communicate with each other. A consequence of this model is that the student in the classroom learns the most diverse contents without realizing how they are related. The present work aimed at investigating which knowledge productions could arise by inter-relating the knowledge produced in IFAM Manacapuru, in the course of Technician in Fishing Resources, with the knowledge of the artisanal fishermen of the city. The research methodology chosen was the Oral History, with meetings between the students and the fishermen of the urban community of the city. In the meetings, students developed the roles of researchers, moving away from the passivity of school benches which, in the traditional teaching model, is the place to receive knowledge, as if it were ready. Thus, the general objective of this research was to investigate how the meetings between students and fishermen could become a broader mechanism of knowledge production for both research subjects (students and artisanal fishermen), being the teacher-researcher only the process advisor. The purpose was to seek the construction of a transdisciplinary knowledge for fishermen as well as student-researchers, as well as for the researcher-teacher. It was possible to conclude that the students behaved as active agents in the production of knowledge and acted without knowledge hierarchy, realizing the social importance of several knowledges, while the fishermen expressed satisfaction in being valued for their life history

CARDOSO, Marcos Sicsu. The research project in the education of the technician in agriculture: study based on the pedagogical assumptions and didactic procedures of the methodology by projects. 2019. 74p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Institute of Agronomy, Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
Since the integration of the Agrotechnical School with the Federal Education Network by the IFAM formation in 2008, in Amazon, the creation of new inland campuses has been created, unarticulated within its own pedagogical structure, typical and sufficient for training in the Technical Course in Agriculture, in view of the desired quality. Implying in the requalification of the school and the teacher, in a new sense of being and acting of school education. Thus, due to the need to propose a methodological model appropriate to the new conformation and difficulties in the teaching-learning process arising, we sought to evaluate the feasibility of using projects, based on the principles of research, for the training of the technician in agriculture. This work, therefore, results from a study carried out at the Federal Institute of Amazon, on the campus Maués (IFAM CMA), with the general purpose of evaluating the use of school research project in the teaching-learning discipline of Vegetable Production 1 (Olericultura), adopting pedagogical assumptions and didactic procedures of the methodology by projects; as well as specifically to evaluate the results of a research project in the Vegetable Production 1 (Olericultura) classes; evaluate the application of specific curriculum contents of Plant Production 1 integrated to general knowledge in an interdisciplinary manner; and analyze the possibility of implementing the methodology by projects in the IFAM CMA Integrated Agricultural Technical Course. The methodology used was based on the procedures of the action research, developed with the students and servants of the Institute, in 2019. Different doses of a substrate for watermelon seedling production were investigated. Data collection consisted of questionnaires, observations and analysis of the curriculum and the environment. The formation of the competent, autonomous, critical and creative subject capable of innovating and socially intervening was the guiding thread in the assessment, seeking to observe the occurrence of learning learn to know, learn to do, learn to live and to hold to be. From the obtained results it can be concluded that: 1. The use of experimental research during the time allotted to the classes, integrated to interdisciplinary and complementary activities, proved to be a powerful teaching-learning strategy, acting in the process as a means of promoting the process. development of professional, personal and citizen capacities of the agricultural student and the teacher of the Plant Production discipline 1; 2. It was found efficiency in the application of specific curricular contents of Plant Production Discipline 1 integrated to general knowledge, in an interdisciplinary manner; 3. By analyzing the school environment, the curriculum and the positive results found in teaching and learning, it is feasible to adopt the methodology by projects in the IFAM - CMA Agricultural Technical Course. 4. It was not possible to obtain response of the behavior of the watermelon plant in the research installed in the classes of Vegetable Production 1 (Olericultura), requiring further studies in the conditions of Maués.

Educational inclusion provides the promotion, continuity and success of schooling for all. This inclusive schooling concerns the school to generate pedagogical practices that can deliberate teaching / learning processes for students with disabilities and / or educational needs, including communication deficits, in social and behavioral aspects, with restricted characteristics and contiguous stereotypes with regard to students with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). This study aimed to investigate, understand and describe the development of schooling of a student with ASD, in regular education, from Psychomotricity via Educational Riding Therapy. For that, the method used was a case study, in a longitudinal way, obtained through a qualitative approach. Data analysis was performed based on systematic observation, with reports, school files, clinical reports, notes in field diaries, audiovisual resources and interviews with family and educational agents. This intervention led to pedagogical actions that cooperated for the autism practitioner symbolization movement, at the CAIC Paulo Dacorso Filho municipal school, located in Seropédica / RJ. The description and analysis of the subject's body narratives observed in the field were elucidated by the assumptions of Psychomotor Education by Le Boulch, Fonseca, Aucouturier, Lapierre and collaborators, mainly, in the actions established on the role of the other in the appropriation of the student's school culture with autism. The data involved the apprehension that the equotherapeutic strategies for the development of the practitioner in the school were inclusive and the psychomotor actions organized so that he appropriated the school culture became relevant to his permanence in the school. With that, the school universe is inserted in it and contextualizes the educational mediation that carried out relational playful activities to promote psychomotor, social and language elements. Thus, it was possible to verify, from the equotherapic practice, the deconstructions of exclusionary barriers, mainly related to schooling, which incite the learning success of the autistic student

This work was developed through a case study with members of the course of popular agents in Environmental Education of the Environmental Education and Family Farming Program (PEAAF) that took place at the Secretariat of Environment of Pinheiral-RJ. The program was created in 2012 through the struggle of popular agriculture for the strengthening of Family Farming and has been acting in various parts of the country, helping to promote rural development with conservation of natural resources and enhancing the knowledge of traditional peoples and communities. An analysis of the training process conducted by the program tutors was made from the materials provided by the Ministry of the Environment, the sponsor of this process. In order to answer these points, a documentary analysis was carried out in order to observe the path taken to carry out the activities with regard to the content on social and environmental issues that directly and indirectly imply family farming. We conducted semi-structured interviews with the trainers seeking to understand the environmental vision to be reproduced by them, and semi-open questionnaires were used with the students in order to allow us to understand the scope reached by them during the process. Thus, it was observed the current of the tool used to approach Environmental Education, along with the students' reflection on the contents covered. Thus, the conceptual foundations were defined from the empirical and documentary data that instrumentalized the selection of authors corresponding to the theme. The main challenges encountered were the difficulty of farmers to follow the course and thus its completion. It was concluded that the material provided along with the driving done by the trainers considered the intended direction in the program, and contemplated the observed current.

BORGES, Sandro Camarini. Analysis of institutional arrangements of river basin committees: A case study on the Guandu-RJ River Basin Committee. 2019. 61p. (Dissertation, Master in Agricultural Education). Postgraduate Program in Agricultural Education. Institute of Agronomy. Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. Seropedic: UFRRJ.
The shift from centralized water management to decentralized water resources management in the Brazilian legal agenda came with the democratic paradigm in Law No. 9,433 / 97, called the Water Law. The body that approaches this decentralized management proposal par excellence is the River Basin Committee (CBH), because it is represented by the Government, Civil Society and Water Users. In 2002, the Guandu River Basin Committee (CBHG-RJ) was created to decentralize the management of water issues in this basin. Some research was conducted directly or indirectly on this board, however, the systematic analysis of the committee's action from its actions highlighting its performance in the Rural Environmental Registry and National Water Resources Registry was given as a fact that prompted the research question. The objective of this study is to describe and discuss the process of formation of the institutional arrangement of the Guandu River Basin Committee and its implications for the implementation of water resources management instruments, in this case, the National Register of Water Resources Users and Rural Environmental Registry. , the participation of the different social actors involved and their expectations. The research method consisted of bibliographic surveys that started from the general premises contained in the CBHs Water Law to analyze the actions of the Guandu Committee. In addition, a case study was conducted with semi-structured interviews with different social actors involved in CAR and CNRH in the rural areas of the Guandu basin: 24 farmers / landowners, 01 rural environmental register coordinator, 03 members of the Guandu basin, 02 environmental analysts / environmental technicians and 02 leaders of farmers' associations. The results show that despite the CAR / CNARH bring some contributions to participatory management in the basin, the lack of information and the low adherence of society still present as weaknesses that hinder the implementation of the competences that fall to the Guandu Committee, reflecting of negative form.

SOUZA, Severina Ramos Telécio de. Students’ narratives: senses about the curriculum of the Technical Course in Logistics, in Integrated Form - PROEJA of the Federal Institute of Education of Amapá – IFAP. 2019. 92p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Agronomy Institute, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, Rio de Janeiro, 2019.
This study had as its main goal to identify and to analyze the narratives of students about the meanings that they have regarding the curriculum of the High School Level Technical Course, in Integrated form, PROEJA Modality, of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amapá (IFAP). In this sense, the students were the participants of this research, characterized as predominantly qualitative. The methodological procedure was performed through three data collection techniques: document-based research, questionnaire, and semi-structured interview. The phases were constituted as follows: (i) documentary phase, which sought to analyze the Pedagogical Project of the Technical Course in Logistics of Santana Campus, in order to understand the organizational structure of the Political Project of the Course, specifically the curriculum; (ii) extended inquiry phase, which consisted of the application of a questionnaire to identify the socioeconomic profile of the subjects of the investigation context; and, lastly, (iii) selective inquiry phase, which was based on the careful selection of the students that would be the target of a semi-structured interview, organized by thematic axes that enhanced the verbalization of the narratives regarding the curriculum. Strictly, this work sought to identify and understand the statements in which the students expressed themselves about the curriculum. In line with the objectives set, the research also aimed to understand the elements that went through the routine of the pedagogical practices in the execution of this prescribed curriculum. Through the content analysis technique, the results indicated the relevance of taking into account the expectations and needs indicated by the students, considering that their narratives were indicators of permanence and dropout, in a complex and contextual way. From the results obtained, it was possible to understand the relevance that this curriculum has in representations of youngsters and adults of PROEJA, who associated it not only with their professional training, but also personal and human development. This observation is present in the desire - expressed by the participants - of increasing their educational level, and the perspective that, after the conclusion of the course, new opportunities should appear to improve their lives, since they consider that IFAP has excellence in teaching quality.

Children and adolescents are subjects of rights in Brazil today, and are not necessarily able to demand that these rights be realized. Problems related to children and adolescents must be prioritized by the government, the family and society at large. The general objective of this research was to analyze if the protective measures assured to children from 0 to 12 years are being applied by the government institution Lar Ciã Katuá, in Macapá-Amapá. Specifically we sought to consider the importance of education in the field and protection for children and youth; identify the actions taken by Ciã Katuá Home to ensure protection measures for children from 0 to 12 years old; and list the main obstacles and challenges faced by Lar Ciã Katuá regarding its protective actions applied to children from 0 to 12 years. It was a case study with bibliographic and field research, using the descriptive method, with quantitative and qualitative approach. It was found that the work developed by Lar Ciã Katuá Shelter serves children from various parts of the state of Amapá, especially from rural areas, where there is a marked lack of public policies that favor the education and support of these children. Therefore, it is necessary that this type of work has the full support of the state and be able to expand public policies for this type of demand, in order to solve a serious social problem, which is the helplessness of young children, who need have your rights guaranteed by law, as this phase is the most delicate and important for your character and personality formation.

This research seeks to analyze the possible impacts of technical education in the context of life in an indigenous community of the Federal Institute of Education Science and Technology of Amazonas-IFAM, Campus Tabatinga, in Proeja mode, in view of the training of indigenous professionals who could contribute to the process of economic development and food security of the Ticuna people. The locus of the research refers to the Ticuna do Umariaçú indigenous community, which is located in the municipality of Tabatinga-AM, in the context of the Amazon, on the triple border Brazil, Colombia and Peru, in the Alto Solimões Mesoregion. The methodology used to develop this research is based on the epistemological approach of phenomenology by the emphasis given to the world of everyday life. The qualitative approach allows us to have a broader view of a scenario of the social phenomenon, that is, stimulating free form research on the theme, object and concepts. The technique used is based on the Case Study, which enables the analysis of the social phenomenon in question in a systemic way (GERHARDT; SILVEIRA, 2009). The method leads to understanding from reality itself, obtaining data through interviews, socioeconomic questionnaire and participant observation. Participated in this research, 09 (nine) indigenous students graduating from the technical course in agriculture in the modality proeja, all of the ethnic group Ticuna, 07 (seven) indigenous leaders Ticunas do Umariaçú; 02 (two) Ifam teachers who work in the technical area of agriculture; 01 (one) coordinator of the agricultural course. The results of this research categorically affirm the need to formulate more specific public policies that meet the peculiarities of the indigenous community, as well as the need to offer technical professional qualifications that can actually invest more effectively in economic development, thus providing financial autonomy. and government independence. Therefore, it is concluded that Ifam can rethink new courses that are more in line with the socio-cultural reality of the Ticuna Indians in this Amazonian trapeze, enabling social inclusion. Finally, the studies suggest new research, considering the complexity that surrounds the theme of vocational training at medium level of indigenous people of the Amazon.

Indigenous school education lives a plot of conflict between indigenous and non-indigenous traditional knowledge. There is a need to articulate indigenous education with indigenous school education through academic knowledge. However, it is important that in this process indigenous culture is preserved, respected and valued. In this dissertation we present the results of a research that aimed to analyze the contribution of ethnomathematics in the Guarani Karaí Kuery Renda Indigenous State School, according to the National Curriculum Reference for Indigenous Schools. The school, where the research was conducted, is located in the Guarani M'bya Indigenous Territory, in the city of Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro state, Brazil. We adopted a qualitative methodology, with observation of the village routine, interviews and questionnaires, based on the Ubiratan D'Ambrosio Ethnomathematic Program. The results point to difficulties in mathematics due to the lack of specific didactic material and difficulties with the Portuguese language.

SANTOS, Dulcineide Pereira dos. Interdisciplinarity in the teaching of mathematics through a proposal for the implementation of a cistern for rainwater use. 2019. 70p. Dissertation (Master in Agricultural Education). Instituto de Agronomia. Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação Agrícola (PPGEA). Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
This dissertation is the result of an action research that aimed to investigate the contributions to teaching and learning the mathematics content of the 2nd year of the Technical Course in Agriculture Integrated to High School, in an interdisciplinary proposal for the implantation of a cistern in the pigsty of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM-CMZL) The research was motivated by practices that had already been implemented, in the agroecology sector, where through a project aimed at permaculture, 5 (Five) cisterns were implanted to collect rainwater, this motivated to extend this practice to another sector, the IFAM-CMZL pigsty, which is located in the city of Manaus-Am, this research was carried out with the help of mathematics, interdisciplinarity and Environmental Education, because we know that the expenditure of water to maintain the sector is quite high and there is no care with the treatment of waste coming from the pigs. Forty students from the Technical Course in Agricultural Integrated to High School participated in the research. It was possible to verify that the mathematics, geography and topography worked in an interdisciplinary way had crucial importance in the elaboration of this project of implantation of the cistern in the IFAM pigsty. What was found is that the interdisciplinarity and the knowledge acquired through this practice, contributed significantly, in the assimilation of the contents taught, such as spatial geometry, system of measures and proportion, however there is still much to improve, since greater involvement of technical disciplines and general training, so that the contribution is effective in the teaching and learning of technical courses at IFAM-CMZL

OLIVEIRA, Erika Euzébio. Investigation of beliefs about sexuality education in IFMG-SJE Integrated Education. 2019. 102p. Dissertação (Mestrado em Educação Agrícola). Instituto de Agronomia, Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
Sexuality education aims to develop a safe and positive view of the sexuality of youth and children to support the decision of this audience. The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais Campus São João Evangelista has around 612 adolescents with age between 14 to 21 years, a phase of human development that can generate vulnerabilities due to physical, psychological and / or social changes. Because of this peculiarity of adolescence, the aim of this study was to investigate the beliefs of third grade students of integrated technical courses in relation to sexuality education after joining the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais Campus São João Evangelista. For this work was based on the theoretical contribution of authors such as: Altman (2007,2013), Figueiró (2006,2014), Furlani (2008,2011) among others. For the research two studies were carried out: Study I and Study II. The research method used for both studies was qualitative. Since Study I was an Integrative Literature Review and Study II described the beliefs of third grade students of the integrated technical courses on sexuality education in the integrated teaching of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Minas Gerais Campus São João Evangelista. The results of Study I showed that adolescents understand sexuality limited to sexual practices and had little knowledge about the topics addressed. The prevalence of the biological-hygienist approach in the interventions was identified, and the predominant subjects in the publications were those related to STIs. / AIDS / HIV, teenage pregnancy and contraceptive methods. The data from Study I pointed to the need to invest in the training of teachers and health professionals to work on sexuality comprehensively. Several extension projects are being carried out in public schools about sexuality, demonstrating a partnership between undergraduate and elementary school. For the collection of data from Study II, the chatting circle method was used. Thirty students participated in the chatting circle, with the maximum number of participants in the circle being 9 and the minimum number of participants being 3, the duration time being the minimum of 1 h and maximum of 1h and 22 min. For analysis of Study II, thematic narrative research was used. On the topics discussed with Study II students, they presented beliefs that are in agreement with publications on the subject and that discussions at the institution about sexuality education take place infrequently, so they seek information on the subject from their peers and others sources. We identified the prevalence of the biological-hygienist approach in the institution, as well as in other Brazilian public schools. Therefore, it is considered necessary to train the institution's professionals to work on sexuality education with the students. It is suggested that there be discussion on this subject in this institution and in other educational institutions for a biopsychosocial understanding of sexuality and attitude change of adolescents and professionals of the institutions, so that we can build a transformative and respectful citizen education.

PEREIRA, C. S. M. Reform of High School - Law 13.415 / 2017: Progress or setbacks in education? Seropédica: UFRRJ, 2019. 115f. Dissertation - Master in Education, Federal University Rural of Rio de Janeiro - PPGEA / UFRRJ, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
This research sought to make an analysis of the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education - LDB 9394/96 analyzing the legal and official changes that culminated with the publication of Law 13.415/17, as well as the structural changes of the so-called New High School. For this, a bibliographic and documentary research was carried out, using a qualitative approach, being divided as follows: 1) Detailed analysis of the LDB 9394/96, regarding high school, using newspapers, magazines, official websites. government, theses, dissertations, audiovisual resources, always with a critical eye on the means of diffusion and influence of interest groups. This analysis aimed to know in depth the positive and / or negative points and the achievements that the law brought to education. 2) Survey of all official and legal changes related to high school made in Law 9394/96, culminating in the publication of Law 13.415/17. 3) Study outlining a social and educational path of high school through official documents that emerged in the period under study, namely, 1996-2017. 4) Critical analysis of the two laws (9394/96 and 13.415/17) highlighting the advances and setbacks that may come with the implemented Reform. 5) Analysis of the data in the light of the studied theoretical references in order to produce impressions about the perspectives of the authors with whom we talk about the High School Reform. Given the analysis of the data obtained, it is believed that with the implementation of Law 13.415/17 there will be a regression of education, a return to the duality of high school, with curricula focused on light training with emphasis on formative itineraries, thus contradicting the advances already made since the implementation of LDB 9394/96 which consolidated a comprehensive and more inclusive education. From the information gathered it is expected to contribute to debates and discussions that promote possible reflections / actions among the scholars of the theme. 5) Analysis of the data in the light of the studied theoretical references in order to produce impressions about the perspectives of the research actors about the High School Reform. This paper aims to address the relations of the teaching-learning process of the egress of the Technical Course in Fisheries Resources of the Federal Institute of Amazonas - IFAM Campus Maués with its insertion in the world of work and access to higher education. The study was carried out with 12 graduates of the referred course. Firstly, it was decided to take a brief approach to Vocational Education, a conceptual analysis of competences, as well as to emphasize the importance of the research of graduates to provide valuable information to their home institution and to the educational system as a whole. After the documentary survey about the skills essential to the training of the technician in fishing resources and collecting empirical data from the graduates, through forms and interviews, referring to the knowledge acquired and required by the world of work, as well as aspects of technical training. that contributed to verticalization, we sought in the content analysis method the tools for this verification. The research results indicated that the proposals for the technical education have not been effective in the locality when it comes to professional performance in the area of formation, there is a high dropout rate of the course, and those that remain, object of this research, have not been able to. space in the labor market, but that the objectives that are linked to the formation for life have been achieved when this graduate is able to critically perceive his reality and contribute to the community around him, thus effecting some of the characteristics listed by human formation integral. The data analysis also points to the materialization of the skills required of the trained professional, contained in the pedagogical political project of the course, in line with the perception of the graduates, when they claim to be able to perform any activity related to the area, having in fact the qualification for This has not been very significant for the access to higher education, where they point out some difficulties, strengthening a local tendency towards the horizontalization of education.

LIMA, Antônio Vieira. Moringa oleifera Lam., Educational diffusion and evaluation ofweight gain in cattle at the Instituto Federal Minas Gerais Campus São João Evangelista. 2019. 51p. Dissertation (Master Science in Agricultural Education). Instituto de Agronomia, Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
With the objective of constituting a demonstration area, that is, a living laboratory to be used with the function of consolidating the teaching of research and extension, it was implanted in the IFMG-SJE, in the months of June and July 2018, a Moringa oleifera plantation of one (01) hectare in an area called "Demanda", characterized by flat soil and average fertility. It was used in the seeding in thickened systems 10 kg of seeds, and estimated production of one hundred thousand (100,000) plants.
To evaluate the performance in weight gain, Girolando cattle were supplemented with Moringa oleifera hay. The experimental groups consisted of 16 calves with an approximate age of 180 days, with a mean body weight of 127 kg, and allocated to four treatments (T1): T1) 0.0%, T2) 0.2%, T3) 0.4% and T4) 0.6%. These concentrations express the amount of M. oleiferous hay, added to the standard amount of 2 Kg of meal in relation to the total mass of the animal, or animal live weight (PV). The performance was evaluated through weight gain; body growth, through measurements of croup height. The experimental design was adopted in entirely randomized blocks, with four treatments and four repetitions, each experimental unit being represented by an animal. Data organized in a cumulative manner were submitted to nonlinear regression analysis using the iterative method of Levenberg-Marquardt. The logistic model of three parameters was adjusted for each treatment to estimate the accumulated growth per animal in height (cm) and mass (kg) as a function of time, in days. The logistic model was chosen because of its biological basis and ease of interpretation of its parameters.
The highest estimates in terms of height and mass were verified in the T3 treatment (0.4% of M. oleiferous hay). However, little difference in the estimated mass at 60 days after experimental installation was observed between T3 and T4 treatments.
The performance of demarcated calves was positively influenced by the addition of moringa hay to the bran feed.

CAMPOS, Paulo Modesto. Use of Oil Moringa Leaf Bran in the diet of Broilers as an Educational Activity at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais - São João Evangelista Campus-MG. 2019. 40p. Dissertation (Master Science in Education). Instituto de Agronomia, Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ. 2019.
The objective of this research work was to implement an educational demonstration area and to evaluate the effects of Moringa oleifera leaf meal on broiler performance from 22 to 42 days of age. Moringa oleifera is a plant that contains water-soluble contents. The growing interest in its cultivation is due to its high nutritional value and its use in various uses such as water purification (seeds) and food and feed (leaves). The experiment was conducted in the poultry sector of the institute, initially with 400 chicks. males, where they were kept from the 1st to the 10th day of life in a protection circle with water supply, ration in the initial phase under gas bell for heating. From the 11th day on, the protection circle was fully opened, allowing the chicks to remain in the total area until 21 days of age. The growth phase lasted from 22 to 33 days old, while the final phase corresponded from 34 to 42 days old. The slaughter occurred at 43 days. The method chosen for conducting and evaluating the experiment was qualitative and quantitative, as they have relevant importance in the research process because it involves quantitative and qualitative methods to obtain a deeper analysis of the research subject. Given the analysis of the obtained data, it is believed that the treatments with Moringa oleifera leaf meal offered to broilers from 22 to 42 days of age did not significantly influence the performance variables of the birds, and no significant differences were found. for polynomial regression and mean test. The implementation of an experimental area of Moringa oleifera production in the IFMG - São João Evangelista Campus can greatly contribute to Teaching, Research and Extension and its dissemination to the academic community, family farmers and other users of the Institute's services.
