RESUMO:

The disposal and incineration of plant residues generated through the maintenance and removal of tree species contributes to environmental degradation. The objective of this work was to produce organic substrates from the biodegradation, accelerated by the Arthropod Trigoniulus corallinus, of residues of arboreal species. Two trials were carried out to measure the consumption and production of coprolites by T. corallinus, the first with 17 species and the second with the two most prominent species, positive and negative. Subsequently, four tree species were selected, submitted to assisted degradation, adding individuals of T. corallinus. The obtained product was submitted to efficiency test for the production of arugula and lettuce seedlings. In the first two experiments, the individuals of T. corallinus consumed all 17 species, with a positive highlight of consumption and production of copolytes for Delonix regia, and negative of mortality and coprolites for Enterolobium contortisiliquum in the two trials. In the third experiment, the substrates obtained adequate values in the physical parameters. In the fourth experiment, the SIPA treatment represented the greatest accumulation of biomass and seed vigor for arugula; the gongocomposites obtained the highest stability averages of the clod. In the fifth experiment, all the gongocomposites were efficient to produce lettuce seedlings. Biomix® and BD (Oiti and Albízia) substrates were the most efficient to obtain seedlings with a higher fresh and dry shoot mass. The addition of castor bean meal in the treatments resulted in a 35% increase in mass in lettuce, again with a positive result for Biomix® and BD. The results of the present work confirm that T. corallinus can consume different species, preferring those with better nutritional characteristics, and that the substrates obtained through gonocomposting are suitable for the production of lettuce seedlings.
