SUMMARY:

Early blight caused by the fungus Alternaria spp represents one of the most important and frequent fungal diseases in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) and potato (Solanum tuberosum) cultures, presenting a high destructive potential with incidence in leaves, stems, petioles and fruits, leading to great psychological harm. In this work, the efficiency of biological and chemical control, associated and in a basic way, in the control of black spot in the potato and industrial tomato crop in the region of Planaltina-DF was evaluated. For that, two experiments were set up simultaneously, one to evaluate the treatments in the potato crop and the other to evaluate them in the tomato crop. The experiment consisted of 8 treatments, namely: 1) Picoxystrobin; 2) mancozeb; 3) bacillus subtilis; 4) picoxystrobin + mancozeb; 5) picoxystrobin + mancozeb + bacillus subtilis; 6) picoxystrobin + bacillus subtilis; 7) mancozeb + bacillus subtilis; 8) witness; where weekly sprayings were performed, starting 30 days after transplanting (DAP), for 5 weeks. Estimates of disease severity were performed weekly, estimating the percentage of leaf tissue covered by pathogen symptoms. The experimental design was completely randomized with 4 replications. With the data were the areas under the disease progress curve (AUDPC), which were left for analysis of variance and test of means (P<0.05). The results showed that the treatment with the fungicide mancozeb was more efficient in reducing the evolution of the disease in the potato crop, followed by its association with picoxystrobin and then the association between mancozeb + picoxystrobin + bacillus subtilis. Pediatric treatments with picoxystrobin and associated subtle bacillus are less effective than treatments with mancozeb. The results were similar for the tomato crop; in both seasons there was no effect on production, which was statistically the same for all treatments.
