RESUMO:

The research project is based on the hypothesis that physical and chemical attributes occur distinctly in gullies with four evolutionary stages (early, juvenile, mature and senile), as well as water dynamics and soil loss. The present project has the objective of evaluating and quantifying the physical and chemical attributes of four gullies in different formation times, located in convex pedoforms, in the region of Vale do Paraíba do Sul, Pinheiral (RJ), in order to provide information that may contribute to the recovery of degraded areas. In order to reach the objective outlined, the following goals will be listed: a) quantify the physical and chemical attributes in the different gullies; b) analyze the dynamics of water and sediments in the different gullies from the laser scanner; c) aerial sweeping of the gullies using drone; d) To evaluate the similarity / dissimilarity of the physical and chemical attributes of the soil in the different gullies and e) to identify the main edaphic limitations in the processes of recovery of these areas.
