RESUMO:

Oil production is invariably accompanied by water formation which causes various problems such as emulsion and scale formation, corrosion, and H2S production.

In offshore deepwater oil fields, where one of the most commonly used recovery mechanisms is seawater injection to maintain reservoir pressure, the deposition of inorganic salts from the produced water is a major costly problem. with production losses.

Fouling formation in the production well eventually results in a decrease in production yield and may even lead to well closure.

The chemical characterization of the formation water presents high salinity containing high calcium concentration (> 14,000 mg / L), besides the presence of CO2 (± 4% v / v) that exceptionally favors the precipitation of calcium carbonate. The high pH of the formation water also increases the precipitation of calcium carbonate and other salts (mainly barium and strontium) favoring inorganic scale.

Thus, there is great difficulty in selecting and using fouling inhibiting agents leading to the need for the use of combinations of different chemicals that provide the appropriate inhibiting effects. Therefore, the search for new, more efficient and user-friendly fouling inhibiting agents in both storage reservoirs and continuous application, especially in pre-salt wells, which completely prevent or significantly reduce the extent of fouling and corrosion effects, It is extremely relevant for oil production.

Carboxylated and phosphonated derivatives of 3-aminocrotonic acid will be synthesized and evaluated for acting as fouling inhibiting agents, and their toxicity will also be evaluated, as compounds considered as eco-friendly are of utmost importance in the current environmental situation of the planet.
