RESUMO:
This research aims to present the historical period from 1909 to 2010, regarding educational policies focused on professional education in Brazil, with an analytical emphasis in the management of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (2003 to 2010), as well as his philosophies and strategies of development and promotion of policies for this type of education and how they have impacted the process of organizing the federal institutes in the state of Goiás. This represents investigating the historicity and the configuration of professional education in a perspective of ruptures and innovations or even in a perspective continuity and transformation of one school institution into another, be they cultural, administrative, geographic, management, personnel, among others. The research intends to contribute to this debate and the possible results will cooperate for the development of scientific knowledge, which must be continually expanded, by undoing events inherent to the fields of Social Sciences, professional education and / or even cultural, political, economic and social. For this purpose, sources of a qualitative nature will be used, such as bibliographical and documentary research.
