SUMMARY:

The economy of the State of Amazonas is currently linked to the industrial activities, secondary sector, and goods and services, tertiary sector. This movement occurred mainly due to the creation of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (MFTZ) at the end of the 1960s, transferring production efforts to the encouraged encouraged industry, which remains in force until the present. With this, the capital, Manaus, generates most of the part of the income and concentrates the largest activities that make up the gross domestic product of Amazonas, about 77% according to the 2018 GDP. Over the years it has created an economic dependence of the interior to the capital, concomitantly with agricultural activities, mainly related to family farming family farming, present in all municipalities of the state, grew less than the others. Observing the two movements, the excessive dependence of the state with the activities of the MFTZ and the opportunities growth of the primary sector through family farming, this work was thought, with the objective of understanding understand how the primary sector is being worked in the State of Amazonas, in order to strengthen this sector, specifically in order to strengthen this sector, more specifically family agriculture. To this end, the main economic cycles cycles experienced in Amazonas will be pointed out, in order to understand how the current participation of economic activities in the composition of the GDP.
