SUMMARY:

The purpose of this research is to analyze the conditions of food sovereignty, food and nutritional security - SSAN and strategies to face food insecurity scenarios from the experience of indigenous women of the Indigenous Cultural Association of the State of Roraima - KAPOI, multiethnic indigenous association, in an urban context, in the city of Boa Vista – Roraima. The methodological course will be the elaboration of a diagnosis of the food and nutritional security situation of the indigenous people associated with KAPOI; analysis of the practices developed by indigenous women from KAPOI to guarantee SSAN, considering the context of the COVID 19 pandemic and, finally, to reflect on the concept of territory-body-spirit, developed by the indigenous women's movement in the I March of Indigenous Women (2019) can contribute to our reflection on SSAN promotion strategies
