This research seeks to bring centrality to the healing practices of faith healers in Serra dos Paus Dóias, in the municipality of Exu/PE. Our objective is to understand the healing practices of faith healers as a way of caring. The ways of caring for these women involve benzos, teas, licking, bush medicine, exchanges of energy and affection, but can also have a disruptive character. To this end, we analyzed their care practices through healing, seeking to understand the meaning of care and nature for the faith healers. It is proposed that the ways of caring for faith healers involve a web of relationality that provides an environment of trust, attentive and welcoming listening. In the context of healers, healing as a way of caring goes beyond the benzo itself, it is conviviality and sociability, it involves affection, trust, self-care and collective care.
