RESUMO:

A sinthesis of Baobab with Galaxy, Baobáxia is a free digital system that allows multimedia storage of materials produced by members of the remaining quilombo communities that make up the Rede Mocambos. Designed to operate in locations without internet access, this platform makes it possible to decentralize information sharing through the movement of people across network territories. This software had its development led by the Casa de Cultura Tainã, quilombola educational center of Campinas / SP, but emerged from its own digital inclusion process created by Rede Mocambos. In this research, we seek to understand how the work of encouraging to own technologies promoted by this network influences youths of the quilombos. In particular, we seek to understand how the young leaders of the quilombos of Fazenda da Caixa and Campinho da Independência, Ubatuba / SP and Paraty / RJ, are interested in and interact with Baobáxia in their digital context.
