SUMMARY:

This research was carried out in the context of the pandemic by covid-19 and, encouraged by the context, it proposes to analyze how elements that until then were theoretically understood as belonging to nature and culture have suffered, especially in recent years, an increasingly indiscernible imbrication at the environmental phenomena level, so that they can be allocated as mixed-hybrid elements. It proposes, from this discussion, to verify in what way the socio-sanitary vulnerabilities of the populations, having as a cutout the epidemiological data produced about Brazil in the covid pandemic, are an opportunity to understand the context of climate change and its key in relation to the concept Anthropocene/New Climate Regime, in order to locate the discussion - its controversies and theoretical-methodological disputes - in the contemporary global environmental context.
