Sociogenesis of Degree Courses in Rural Education in Southwest Paraná (2004-2015)
Sociogenesis. Rural Education Teaching Degree. Human Formation. Counter-hegemony.
This work aims to analyze and understand the formative processes of the initial Rural Education Teaching Degree programs held in Southwest Paraná, specifically "Pedagogy of the Land" and "Rural Education Teaching Degree" (2004-2015). The objective is to investigate to what extent the matrices that guided the pedagogical work could contribute to the advancement of counter-hegemonic consciousness among the graduates of these programs. The research is based on qualitative assumptions, employing semi-structured interviews with graduates of these programs and documentary analysis. It also utilizes sociogenesis to weave the socio-historical and political context of Southwest Paraná and the trajectory of Rural Education involving the programs and Rural Education itself. The study addresses central issues: the model of development in dispute in the Brazilian rural environment linked to the Rural Education debate; hegemony/counter-hegemony; human formation; education as a totality; and the formative matrices of the Rural Education Teaching Degree programs. These categories will be analyzed based on authors such as Thompson, Caldart, Gramsci, Molina, among others, who constituted the theoretical framework used to establish a dialogue with the research data. Regarding possibilities, the study highlights potential paths for organizing contextualized, critical teaching committed to individuals and counter-hegemonic processes, strengthening pedagogical tools for the Rural Education Teaching Degree programs, engaging in the political struggles of their time, and through this involvement, advancing as educators and assisting in the construction of a knowledge of resistance and emancipatory social production.
