SUMMARY:
The main question of this research is to work with contractors during the governments of Luís Inácio Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff, both from the Workers' Party (PT). This period is marked by large state housing works, construction of hydroelectric plants, refineries and railways, which also includes the Growth Acceleration Program (PAC), among other undertakings. We start from the idea that these contractors, through their class organizations and interests, as well as their respective party representations and electoral donation mechanisms, constituted an articulation that, together with other class fractions, led them to the power bloc. This period was marked by a visible rise of the Brazilian internal big bourgeoisie.
