makhnovshchina. national question. anarchism. Ukraine. revolution.
This Dissertation proposes to discuss the phenomenon of a revolution - determinedly influenced by anarchism - from the perspective of the national question. Taking place in the Ukrainian South and East between 1917 and – at least – 1920, the revolution in question and its relationship with the national ques tion will be investigated through two paths: the discursive and the practical. Throughout the chapters, however, theoretical and conceptual issues, anarchism, the Makhnovist Revolution, their antecedents and their context will be developed before the central problem of the research is properly addressed.
