RESUMO:

In our work we observe intellectual productions as a form of discourse, which propose a formulation of images and ideas about the world and for the world, and does so as a work of language. In this sense, the texts are made from the reflections of their authors. Our goal is to analyze how the identities of intellectuals are formed from the transformations of the Cuban Revolution, understanding the role and function of the intellectual within society. This identity is never static or homogeneous and enters into crisis when intellectuals disagree with the political field. When this happens, this tension becomes a self-exile.
