The present work in the area of Institutional History has as its object the research on the Court of Appeal of Rio de Janeiro in the period between 1833 and 1850, with emphasis on the typology of the processes, procedures and legal practices that were undertaken in those who there. in addition to verifying whether the dictates of positive law were being observed.
