SUMMARY:

The dissertation proposes a reflection about the future image construction made by the Japanese animation Ghost In The Shell (1995). The attempt is to think the interface between digital technology, composing and narrative, and analyse the way animation use and speech technologically. The analyses key also crosses dislocation and encounters between elements of cyberculture and Japanese culture, showing that the future image projected isn‘t the image of progressive utopian neither disabling dystopias , but an ambiguous and possible future.
