SUMMARY:

This master dissertation exam will investigate Grêmio de Propaganda Espírita Luz e Amor workers action during the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic. Soon after, we will talk about the arrival of kardecism spiritism in the  Bangu neighborhood' area and it entry into working class circles. Finally, we will observe the action off workers and other members off the organization during the epidemic and the respect articulation between the ideas of cure, charity and solidarity among workers.
