Writing of the self; Intellectual History; Memory; Trajectory

The main purpose of this research is to understand the selection and organization of Ana Cristina Cesar's personal collection considering the construction of a project of memory around the writer by examining the sources of the exhibition catalog in honor of the author and her photobiography. In this way, we seek to undertake an analysis of how the elaboration of representations about the trajectory of the author has been, thinking about the choices, selections and omissions that constitute this process. Thus, considering the writer's personal archive a relevant source to think about the relationship between her personal biography and the documentary memory present in the collection. The memory procedures involved in the biographical representations of the poet from Rio de Janeiro were investigated and, through the analysis of the sources, the agents that compose the keeping of her memory were evidenced, as well as the projects of construction of these discourses.
