SUMMARY:

The Second World War is still a great challenge for those who debate about its events in order to elaborate a historiographical reflection. Among the many recent events, the greatest historical conflict in history, a Shoah occupies a prominent place in historiography, mainly in German and Israeli production. The present research has as main objective to investigate how notions and categories of passivity and resistance from the witnesses of Shoah survivors; how, when and with what intentions do survivors classify an action as passive or as a resistance action? Therefore, I would like to propose an investigation of ambitions based on the narratives elaborated by survivors, in order to understand how these categories are formed and used, observing their context and their use.
