SUMMARY:

It is essential that we know the principles developed by social movements regarding the struggle for rural education. Its flags, projects, perspectives and utopias. The political training of workers and the valorization of social conscience are some of the challenges posed to rural education. In this sense, the production of knowledge in rural schools in the municipalities of Nova Iguaçu, Duque de Caxias and Japeri, Rio de Janeiro - RJ can re-signify memories, identities and histories lived by subjects who articulate to overcome oppression and the various fences of the illiteracy and the lack of emancipatory projects for/with rural men and women. The production of knowledge built in partnership with students, educators, parents and all those who, directly or indirectly, are part of these schools and social movements that fight for their histories, values and recognitions, can be re-signified, encouraging the implementation, for example, of the following public policies: National Program of Education in Agrarian Reform (PRONERA); Support Program for Higher Education in Rural Education Degree (PROCAMPO) and the National Rural Education Program (PRONACAMPO).
