ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE STATE SCHOOLS IN THE STATE OF RIO DE JANEIRO: A NEW OUTLET FOR THE CAPITAL CRISIS

SUMMARY:
Since 2013, the Rio de Janeiro state education secretariat has been developing the high-school project full-time, with integration with vocational education in entrepreneurship. According to estimates made in 2017, around 20 thousand students will be served in the next 4 years. In this sense, the search for the development of self-employment has been highlighted, mainly marked by the notion of entrepreneurship. In this context, entrepreneurship becomes the main alternative to overcome structural unemployment and ensure employability.
In this perspective, the pedagogical thinking of the business class intends, within the ethical-political plan, to guide the formation of working class youth from the theory of social capital, in order to adapt to the references of the new pattern of bourgeois sociability. Therefore, this research is justified by the importance that a curriculum has in directing school education and training of the individuals involved, especially a training model linked to the productive logic, as well as in the development of entrepreneurship, which has been implemented and expanded to a a large number of state schools in Rio de Janeiro, imposing a direction to the curricula, teaching materials and contents to be worked on by the teacher, in line with public-private partnerships with SEBRAE and Instituto Ayrton Senna. Thus, it becomes necessary to investigate the social forces that dispute the definitions of public educational policies in progress and identify the nature and scope of the pedagogical programs and projects implemented by the business sector in public education networks as private social investment.
The objective of this study permeates the understanding of the educational formulations of the business class, via SEBRAE and Instituto Ayrton Senna, based on entrepreneurship and competences for state schools in the state of Rio de Janeiro, regarding that these formulations seek the realization of a project of human formation, loaded with intentions in response to a given reality within a historical project of capital. In this sense, we will seek to answer some questions/questions: a) how entrepreneurship has been manifesting itself in educational propositions?; b) in which theoretical and philosophical references is education for entrepreneurship structured?; c) how the business class has been acting in the formulation of educational proposals for entrepreneurship; d) how did SEBRAE and Instituto Ayrton Senna materialize their proposal for entrepreneurial training in state schools in Rio de Janeiro?; and e) in schools, how did the process of assimilation and/or resistance to the curriculum based on entrepreneurship occur? We will use the historical-dialectical materialism as a method to reach a knowledge that allows us to go beyond the phenomenal appearances, in the progressive and historical understanding of reality. The strategies to be used will be: content analysis, so that we can critically understand the formulations present in the curricula, teaching materials, contents of the entrepreneurship project.
