This text aims to present the research that is being developed for the dissertation of the Graduate Program in Education Contemporary Contexts and Popular Demands (PPGEduc) of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). As a servant of UFRRJ active in affirmative actions of/in the Institution, I place myself as a white woman in the anti-racist struggle, proposing, based on documentary research, to analyze news and online journalistic texts related to Education and Ethnic-racial Relations in two of the news portals most accessed in Brazil, g1.globo.com and metropoles.com.br in the period from 2017 to 2022. As partial results to be presented for qualification is the literature review in six journals with A1 qualis in the period from 2016 2021 and the survey in the Brazilian Digital Library based on the keywords “media” and “race” of 288 texts between Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). The methodology to be used will be Content Analysis by Laurence Bardin, for quantitative survey and for qualitative analysis.
