UFRRJ Student Assistance Assistance Program: a study based on the academic trajectory of scholarship students
Student Assistance Assistance Program
This study's central concern is to evaluate the pecuniary and non-pecuniary aid (food) from the Student Assistance Aid Program (PAAE) of the three UFRRJ campuses according to the academic trajectory of the students benefiting from the Program, relating the number of students who completed the undergraduate course, the number of students who dropped out and the reasons for leaving recorded in the University system and in documents related to the topic in the period from 2017 to 2020.
The present work is motivated by the professional experience of this author as a Social Worker working at the Dean of Student Assistance – PROAES, an experience that began in November 2015 when she joined the aforementioned University. The choice for the research topic was mainly due to the great demand for professional work, given that Social Services receives the most diverse demands, however, those relating to aid are the main ones.
