Public policies; Access to Early Childhood Education; Daycare service; Public-private partnership.
This work is characterized as an unfolding of research developed in the specialization. This research reported and analyzed the municipalization process of three private daycare centers. As Early Childhood Education Manager at the Municipal Network of Nova Iguaçu, he follows the process of adaptation to new routines and administration. This work proposes a reflection on the challenges presented in this period and how the actors stand out as active characters in this scenario. To this end, the presented project is divided into five points: 1) A brief overview of Early Childhood Education on the national political agenda is outlined, including the policies currently being developed by the Federal Government; 2) I describe the theoretical methodological path planned so that this research can achieve its objectives; 3) present the work scenario, which is the city of Nova Iguaçu, in its political and educational aspects; 4) I present to the reader how the public-private partnership works in daycare centers and the main initial reflections from the research field are outlined; Finally, in the fifth section, final considerations regarding the work developed are presented, bringing some conclusions and new questions that can be developed into new research. If the analysis is characterized as a qualitative research approach, the methodological strategies used will be: data collection, obtained through documentation/bibliography, and semi-structured interviews, carried out collectively and individually, in addition to literature review. This research is intended to point more to new developments than to certainties of completed work.
