SUMMARY:

The Supervised Curricular Internship (SCI) is conceived as an epistemological field of knowledge, conducive to reflection on and from practice within formal work environments. The relationship between the university and the school within the scope of the supervised curricular internship constitutes a central element in teacher education, as it enables a critical articulation between theoretical and practical knowledge. Research has identified factors that compromise its effectiveness, such as the distancing between the formative spaces of the university and the school. The legal regulations governing the SCI legitimize these spaces for initial teacher education and identify the school as a co-formative environment for teachers. However, studies in the field point to a lack of articulation between the university and the school in the implementation of the supervised curricular internship. This issue negatively affects the development of the internship, limiting the exchange of information and restricting teacher education within these institutions, resulting in harm to the intern’s reflection on their practice and to the construction of their professional teaching identity. This research project seeks to analyze the dynamics of the interinstitutional University–School relationship within the SCI Ecosystem, encompassing the institutions and agents that constitute the SCI. This qualitative research, with a descriptive and interpretive approach, includes a sample composed of three school institutions and their agents involved in the SCI, including school administrators, supervising teachers, university advisors, and interns, totaling approximately 23 participants. The research instruments will include semi-structured interviews applied specifically to each category of research participants, as well as field notes derived from field observations in schools, aimed at characterizing interinstitutional dynamics during the SCI. The data will be processed and analyzed using content analysis techniques.
