TRANSFORMATIONS GEOMETRIC: LOOKS AND INTERACTIONS TO PROMOTE LEARNING IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Visualization. Geometric Transformations. Multimedia Resources. Virtual environment of learning. Remote instruction.
Understanding that geometric visualization is an important skill for the formation of the individual and that should be stimulated from the initial grades of elementary school, this research aims to develop and analyze teaching strategies to develop the ability to visualize isometric and non-isometric geometric transformations , through multimedia resources with students of the 7th year of Elementary School at the Instituto de Aplicação Fernando Rodrigues da Silveira - CAp-UERJ. The content of geometric transformations was chosen for the development of the research due to its interdisciplinarity with other disciplines of Basic Education, such as Visual Arts, Physical and Biological Sciences, Geography. Designed for face-to-face teaching, the series of activities was organized in a virtual learning environment. The activities integrate multimedia resources, dynamic worksheets, games, in order to work with the congruence and similarity of the figures, as well as the identification of homotetia etc. With the need for social isolation imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, activities were adapted for remote education. In the study, of an exploratory nature, data are being collected through the researcher's field diary, by the responses of the activities in the virtual environment itself and in external resources (Kahoot !, Forms, GeoGebra Classroom).
