Doubts, Uncertainties and Concerns of Teachers and Teachers: Textures from a continuing education course on gender and sexualities in school
Gender. Sexualities. School. Continuing Education of teachers
Diversity and human sexuality, mainly related to the school space
of children, as well as the training of teachers and teachers, is a central theme.
of this thesis qualification text. The Research that develops as one of the
requirements for the doctorate in education, discusses the issues faced
by teachers on issues related to gender and sexualities
at school. The writing took place amidst the chaos of a pandemic that in a few months
will come to two years of many deaths, along with a devastating political scenario, of a
absurdly authoritarian (dis)government, which preaches hatred, racial prejudice, the
LGBTIphobia, mischaracterizes and disqualifies people with disabilities and in a
crisis panorama still publishes Fake News. In this turbulent period, the research
it was necessary to adapt due to social isolation, thus, in a
perspective of continuing education, the Gender and Sexualities at School Course was
offered remotely to teachers in the state of Rio de Janeiro,
in which, in a class of approximately 30 students, she was closely monitored
during the course of the training. This research is about an approach
qualitative and, in addition to digital ethnography, given the needs of the moment in
as the research develops, I seek the methodological perspective in/of/with the
daily life presented by Alves (2008) as an instrument to facilitate
understandings of the problem presented, since there is a dip
necessary of the researcher in the spaces/times of the research, dedicating himself to the
subjects, in which the actions of daily life produced/practiced are observed from
attentive manner, respecting the subjectivities of the subjects and the researcher.
