SUMMARY:
This project was born from concerns about thinking about how the School is (or is not) prepared to promote an environment of interaction, with regard to gender and sexuality relations. The research proposes a reflection so that there is a (re)thinking about the formation of teachers who act as intermediaries of diversities, and also the school curriculum of these institutions. Thus, seeking to understand whether these school systems contribute or not to the maintenance of discrimination and structural prejudices of a conservative society that directly influences the violence suffered by those who are invisible for not fitting into the socially “accepted” hegemonic standard. The methodological strategies of this research have an exploratory character, proposing that the investigation explore the field of study from the narratives of these teachers, carrying out an analysis of these experiences.
