EMERGENCY REMOTE TEACHING IN THE PANDEMIC CHRONOTOPE: GOING THROUGH THE GATES TO TALK TO THE FAMILY

This study seeks to understand how the mediations carried out by the families of the school activities of students enrolled in the second and third years of schooling, in the first segment of Elementary School, occurred through Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE), due to the social isolation resulting from the Covid-19 Pandemic. Covid-19. Reporting the statements of family members on what it was like to experience this experience from a sociocultural perspective. Being a research of the Human Sciences, following the bias of heteroscience, conversation is used as a methodology to listen, responsibly and responsively, to the relatives of the students of the Municipal School Professor Joaquim de Freitas, in the municipality of Nova Iguaçu/RJ. Conversations take place according to the preference of the person responsible for the student: in person or via WhatsApp, by video call or audio exchange. Family members were invited to participate in the survey via WhatsApp message and/or in person. The research is being carried out through cyberspace, at first because of the health crisis and then because it was the most comfortable way chosen by those responsible. The conversations started in 2021 and some will still take place until the end of 2021. Since it is through language that we interact socially and constitute ourselves, we weave here a dialogue between the voices of family members, the texts of theoretical references and the researcher to build the understanding of “unique and unrepeatable acts”, as Bakhtin tells us. With Bakhtin's concepts forming the basis of the gate, of the passages that we build and that are dislocated, changing while we weave new bases of other gates that appear on the way. In Santos e Lemos, we talk about the concepts of cyberculture, cyberspace and analyze how the ERE was set up in the School Unit where the study takes place. In Lopes we bring how we developed the methodology of the conversation In order for there to be security, protection and also for the rights of the participants to be guaranteed, as well as integrity in the research and honesty in the treatment of data, especially in the dissemination of the extracted knowledge, the subjects of this research will fill out the TCLE before any involvement with the present work.
