This research aims to analyze how feminist popular education develops pedagogical prevention strategies for issues linked to inequality and violence against women's gender in the Amazon context. The gender category is the most affected social marker such as the maintenance of continued public policies, so we question to what extent
feminist popular education is being made viable as a communication instrument, dialogue and implementation of social prevention policy networks. The study aims to investigate the effects of gender-based violence on women attending the Instituto Mulheres da Amazônia (IMA), in Acre, a space with feminist popular education pedagogy. As
methodological approach we used qualitative research, carrying out interviews semi-structured meetings with women participating in IMA projects. It is expected with this text qualification contribute with theoretical and methodological support in the field of interface between feminist popular education, public prevention policies specific to women Amazonas, linked to social determinants such as access to health, education, food,
employment and income in a comprehensive manner.
