AN ANALYSIS OF THE RURAL EDUCATION SCENARIO IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MONTE ALEGRE DE GOIÁS

This work investigates public rural education policies in the municipality of Monte Alegre de Goiás, focusing on the Kalunga II and Irani Nunes do Prado schools. The research analyzes how these policies are implemented, considering the specificities of quilombola and peasant communities, as well as the challenges faced, such as infrastructure, quality of education, and access. It uses a qualitative approach, based on bibliographical and documentary research and field research with conversation circles. The analyzes are based on historical materialism, seeking to understand the contradictions and social dynamics of rural education. The study aims to contribute to the debate on more inclusive and effective education for rural communities.
