Implications of social distancing in the teaching practice that mediates knowledge in the Youth and Adult Education Program
Remote Teaching, Unpublished Viable, PEJA, Praxis and Limit Situation.
The study entitled "Implications of social distancing in the teaching praxis that mediates knowledge in the Youth and Adult Education Program (PEJA)" has as main objective to investigate the consequences of the measure of social distancing in the practice of teachers who work in the respective Program, in addition to define the meaning of the keywords in the view of certain authors, cite the documents from the Municipal Secretary of Education of Rio de Janeiro -SME/RJ- that regulate the PEJA and clarify how it was guided during the pandemic. The exploratory, descriptive and qualitative research will have the participation of fifty teachers who teach in eight school units, in Elementary School -1st and 2nd segment-, which offer day and night PEJA, located in the 6th Regional Education Coordination (CRE) in the Municipal Education Network of Rio de Janeiro. This population will be composed of teachers of both sexes, at least 30 years old and at most 50 years old, who teach for a period of more than two years teaching any Curricular Component (Discipline) in the teaching modality of Youth and Adult Education (EJA). The Questionnaire and the Focus Group will be used as instruments for data collection, verified by the content analysis proposed by Bardin (2021) with the purpose of going beyond the common sense of subjectivities and achieving the necessary scientific rigor that considers the context and the lived reality. We hope that the results achieved lead us to reflective propositions which may enable new surveys concerning the topic, based on ethics and solidarity with educators in this atypical, unimaginable and epidemiological moment.
