SUMMARY:

This thesis aims to build a debate between the production of Milton Santos and Walter Mignolo, seeking theoretical affinities between the aforementioned intellectuals who question and point out alternatives to Eurocentric hegemony. The search in course uses qualitative methodology, having its theoretical references supported by the authors that underlie the work, but it is also based epistemologically with authors of Critical Geography, current of thought that allows us to think from the point of view of subaltern peoples, of third countries world, as Milton Santos points out in his writings. being complemented for the production of the Modernidade/Colonialidade group.
