RESUMO:

The Municipal Department of Education of Belford Roxo has invested over the last few years in continuing education for teachers with a focus on racial issues and has achieved results in the implementation of Law 10.639, including some schools offering Youth and Adult Education, attended mostly by students and black students. Faced with these factors, I wondered how the Africanities in Action training traverses the students of these EJA schools. Can students identify experiences related to racism in their daily lives? Are these experiences heard and considered by the dynamizers / multipliers of the schools in the construction of a proposal of antiracist work? What are the criteria for selecting the dynamizers / multipliers? How does the process of formation of these teachers take place? Is it possible to identify changes in perceptions brought about by Continuing Education on Afro-Brazilian History and Culture offered by the Secretary of Education in the daily school life of the participating schools? If so, which ones?
