The Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGEduc) of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) has stood out in the training of researchers and education professionals, with a significant impact on the construction of teaching knowledge, especially for those who dedicate themselves to research in History of Education. The objective of this research work is to examine the contribution of the dissertations and theses defended and related to the field of History of Education, within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Education of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (PPGEduc), in relation to the teaching knowledge of graduates in their theoretical-practical basis in the classroom.
