Autism Spectrum Disorder - Educational Policies - Inclusion
This dissertation chose as an object of study to investigate the challenges of inclusion and schooling of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in the municipality of Duque de Caxias, using as theoretical methodological reference the Critical Theory. The research was carried out in schools of the municipal network that have special classes for students with ASD, were subjects of this study teachers who teach with these public in special class of autism and in regular education. The purpose of the study was to characterize the inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within the framework of the historical-political plot of the special education modality in the city of Duque de Caxias / RJ; To characterize the historical-political frames of education in the scope of inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); To analyze the impacts of public policies of inclusive education in the schooling process of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); To analyze the perspectives and strategies of constitution of the "being professor" of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); To characterize the school challenges (organizational, pedagogical, among others) and teachers (school daily, training, among others) in the schooling process of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (TEA). The reflections on these objectives were made mainly with the ideas of barbarism, debarbarisation, conscientization and emancipation of Theodoro Adorno (1995/2005). Also contributed to the analysis of this research authors as: Damasceno (2012/2015), Leher (2010) and (2014), Glat (2013), Mazzotta (2011), Sassaki (1999), Andrade among others. The Statistical Manual and Diagnostics of Mental Disorders (DSM) were used as procedures and instruments; International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD); Law No. 13,146 / 2015; Nº1264 / 2012; conducting semi-structured interviews and characterization questionnaires with teachers; photographic record of some special classes. The results of the research reveal that the inclusion and schooling of the person with ASD faces greater challenges. Thus, they lack educational policies designed and implemented in such a way that the students have their specificities respected and are not in a pseudo inclusion.
