BIOCONSTRUCTION AS A DRIVING INSTRUMENTO IN TRAINING CRITICAL ENVIRONMENTAL
EDUCATORS: a way of building autonomy in new sustainable societies

This research project aims to study the ways in which bioconstruction and its base concepts
can help formative praxis in critical environmental education in a pratical manner, integrative,
promotind the direct contact with nature and indigenous knowledge, traditional and ancient,
bringing historical-critical-cultural perspecive, opposing stablished hegemonic practices built in
society. The current research intends, through experiences and immersions, to seek theorical-
methodological references for environmental education practices, through biocontruction’s
dinamic in alternative communities, ecovillages or itinerant groups, elucidating how these
practices can generate autonomy, supply popular demands and help creating bases for new
sustainable societies.
