By a small connection and with that, not let reason and science let itself be taken by the purest emotion, but without losing that touch of optimism, following the path of the historicist current, for whoever searches, can swim within his field of study, going in loco that at this moment, means weaving the paths of history and memory.
Search about Baixada Fluminense has always been my desire. I started in classes at the Music School of the Composers' Movement of Baixada Fluminense, better known as AMC, when I was about 13 years old, all the cultural, artistic and educational aspects that Baixada could offer were worked on, there one learns to love region, a space that has been devastated, whether by daily violence or by public neglect, but as the passage from the anthem of Guapimirim tells us very well "we are brave, we are strong and we will never be weak, in the arms of the north wind" .
The title that carries this dissertation does not come from chance, the term "tropicália of the excluded" is used in a report for the newspaper O Globo, in the year 2010, by Dudu do Morro Agudo, in which he reports that the Baixada Fluminense was not only violence, that in the Baixada also emanated the culture of several collectives, including one that jumped my eyes, the Mate with Angu, a movie star in the heart of Duque de Caxias. In the Baixada, coincidences and encounters mean transformations and in the land of Tenório Cavalcante, nothing is as simple as it seems.
This research unfolds as the continuation of the theme of a monograph on the theme of the Barn of Transformative Educational Ideas: the History of the Proletarian School of Merity-Escola Mate with Angu (1921-1945) as a graduation course in Pedagogy at the Federal Rural University of Rio of January, in the Campus of Nova Iguaçu. It is clear that a graduation course could not cover the various reasons for the subject, some questions could only be raised with the theoretical-methodological maturity that the graduate offers us. The purpose of this dissertation is to find some answers, mainly on the construction and consolidation of the pedagogical process of the Meritage School.
