RESUMO:

The text presented to the qualification bank of the doctoral research project in Education focuses on the normalistic youths, their speeches and ways of being and seeing the world. I seek to understand through their aesthetic and imaginary pronouncements the forms that are seen, see the world and the profession of teaching. I try to propose reflections about human emancipation through education and what is the formative place in the Normal Course that privileges the emancipatory dimension in teacher education. My assumptions intend to traverse paths that photography can draw, and in the course of approaching that language of academic fields, understand its methodological scope and its extensions as a significant component in self-reflexive and identity processes. As an expression of youth and contemporary thinking, images produced through cell phones and replicated in social networks mark a new time of communicability and social presentiment. Young people are social subjects marked by a historicity constituted mutually between protagonists and the social contexts in which they are born, grow, coexist and relate and when they hear / present / display reflective processes of their existence appropriating itself of authoral form of its history. As an element that dialogues with the aesthetic and analytical performances, the proposed methodology is the combined use of Photovoice and Photoelucidation, techniques of image production and analysis carried out by the research participants themselves, in this case, the normalists of a normal school in the Baixada Fluminense . The investigative insertions will be supported by the Cultural Studies that value the narratives and the quotidian as important elements for the social understanding.
