Critical Environmental Education, Educational Environment, Educator Training.
The “Pedagogical ComVivência” is a theoretical-methodological proposal for the training of environmental educators, characterized by an experiential educational approach, which proposes collective formative immersions in environments that provide educators with real experiences with other ways of being and being in the world. The main objective of the study is to consolidate references that support the construction of educational environments for this formative proposal, with the development of five Formative Principles that dynamize these environments. Subsidized by a theoretical framework based on the ecology of knowledge, the study starts from the observation that, in view of the radicality of the globalized socio-environmental crisis, which has its greatest expression in climate change, the training of environmental educators requires equally radical approaches, in order to touch at the roots of the traps of the modern world, which keep humans trapped in a negligent and destructive logic of life. The research had as an educational environment the Camino de Santiago de Compostela and it joins contributions of this experience to those of previous and parallel researches, in a perspective of understanding the emerging aspects for the applicability and relevance of the proposal, in the sense of its consolidation in educators' training processes environmental issues.
