SUMMARY:

This project proposes to carry out a study in Social Psychology using the theoretical framework and the research methodology of the Structural approach of Social Representations (SR) regarding the SR of part of the population about "Human Rights", theme by often identified in the field of Civil and Constitutional Rights, however, it also occupies space in political, moral, religious and ethical discussions in Brazilian society, having with it a possible influence on the execution of public policies, especially those aimed at specific population groups. Identifying the SR on the theme described above can help us to build subsidies for the execution of these public policies in order to ensure the guarantee and the full enjoyment of citizens of their rights included in their dignity as a human person, as protected by our Federal Constitution and complementary legislation. To this end, we will study the SR of the Brazilian population and the Iguaçuan society on Human Rights using as a source social media in general and specific posts on the subject in the city's public media, in addition to comparing the SR of two taxonomic groups, namely, Social Assistance workers and families that make up Traditional and Specific Population groups (GPTE). The present study, in addition to its qualitative character, described above, will also have a quantitative character with regard to the population duly registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs in the City of Nova Iguaçu, self-declared part of one (GPTE). With this, the intention is to promote a broad and qualified debate on public policies aimed at promoting Human Rights and the influence of SRs on the theme in its planning, execution and execution.
