Motivationand social representations to the practice of physical activity by students of anagricultural technical college

This studyh as main objective to identify the motivational fator sand the social representationsofstudentsofanagriculturaltechnicalcollegetothepracticeofphysicalactivityofsportandleisure. The sample will consist of 120 students from a federal technical college in the city of Seropédica/RJ, in their high school years, of both sexes and aged between 14 and 19 years. In this sense, two questionnaires will beapplied: Scale of Reasons for the Practice of Physical Activity (MPAM-R), which is a scalethatevaluates fivereasons for the practice of physical exercises by athletes and non-athletes of bothgenders and different ages, thenamely: Fun, competence, appearance, health and social; and a General Information questionnaire prepared by theauthor, containing questionsre ferring to personal information, such as: education, age, sex and information aboutth e practice of physical activity. Also, a scheme of freee vocation of words willbe incorporated in relation to the subject studied: Physical Activity. Data willbetre ate dusingin ferential statistics, Spearman's coefficient (r) and Student's T-Test, using the SPSS 20.0 version for Windows®. In addition, it willfollow the suggeste dan alysis of the instruments. Thisprojec thas a duration of 18 months, with completions cheduled for December 2023.
