SUMMARY:

Women are increasingly present in the workforce, occupying spaces that were exclusively male, which generates transformations, challenges, and a restructuring of the role of women in society. Eating behavior is influenced by various factors such as emotional, social, psychological, and environmental aspects. The perception of one's own body is shaped by mental images, thoughts, feelings, and life experiences of each individual. The current project aims to initiate a discussion about a potential correlation between eating behavior and body image within leadership positions held by women. To assess body image perception, the Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) will be used, and for the analysis of eating behavior, the Eating Attitudes Test (EAT-26) will be applied. The study is intended to be conducted with women residing in the capital of Rio de Janeiro who hold leadership positions in their respective jobs.
