RESUMO:

This work seeks to research which care practices are being offered and carried out with users of Psychosocial Care Centers for Alcohol and other Drugs (CAPSad), in view of the medicalization processes based on medication prescriptions and the insertion and application of the Harm Reduction policy in the care process. In addition to problematizing the care processes based primarily on the prescription of medications, this work is concerned and is willing to discuss the war on drugs in the context of polarization in today's society. For that, using the research-intervention method, we will collect the data through collective interviews carried out from the Autonomous Medication Management (GAM) guide, seeking to understand how the drugs are prescribed and used by CAPSad users. It is expected, from this discussion, to contribute to the debate on new ways of thinking about the prescriptions of psychotropics, as well as the care provided to users of alcohol and other drugs.
