SUMMARY:

This project aims to identify social representations of childhood in migratory processes. To this end, I analyze the knowledge of society about the refugee processes and their possible social representations of childhood, the creation of stereotypes and whether this relationship can be established through discrimination or acceptance in the territories. In view of this, we will use Moscovici's Theory of Social Representations, which has a social view and shared by a group to understand the acquisition of new knowledge. The research will be carried out with 200 students from the areas of humanities, from courses in psychology and law, in order to identify the possible central nuclei of the terms childhood and migration. In addition to a survey in the online newspaper Folha de São Paulo with images of refugee children that will be shown to students at the time of evocation to bring light to family knowledge and / or elucidate new ones.
