SUMMARY:

This work is a psychosocial research in order to understand and analyze the contents of the songs during the dictatorship in Brazil from 1964 to 1985 and their social-cultural-economic crossings, more specifically in the construction / transformation of concepts and meanings of love in that context. To this end, we have selected songs by Milton Nascimento and Belchior. Investigating the socio-cultural aspects of the military dictatorship is necessary, because, even after 50 years have passed, this period is a historical event that today results in impacts and resistance in the current models and systems. For this, we used a bibliographic review and the content analysis method proposed by Bardin. Five categories were found: Eros, Philia, agape, Amor courteous and Amor Bourgeois for the analysis of the songs. In this way it was possible to perceive how much history and music are crossed, as well as the meanings that love can present in its transformations over time.
