SUMMARY:

The management and monitoring of users with severe and persistent mental disorders in Primary Health Care devices are essential for the humanization of care and the strengthening of the social bond, based on comprehensive care. This research aims to identify how the Family Health teams have been following up on such cases, both in terms of their identification and the handling of crises and their longitudinal follow-up in their assigned territory.
